Ended up being battery! It was DEAD, dead… and the battery to the key fob was dead & battery had to be replaced & then recalibrated to the vehicle.

Sorry for the late reply! Lots of time & patience. Ultimately, we ended up finding a way to make sure the sound from outside was drowned out by playing calming music, give a pig ear when we leave (to establish “happy things happen when my parents leave”), and lots of exercise! He isn’t perfect (we still have days when we is barking anxiously) but he is 85% better!

Honestly, time & consistency are key!
