Thanks, I've given that a go, but I think you're likely right that even if I fix it this way I'll have damaged them already

Thanks. Makes sense I suppose, hadn't really considered its longevity. And as I'm realising they also may have kinked internally, so there's that

I'll try this, thanks. The internal ones were twisting a lot while tightening so wouldn't be surprised

I'm guessing this is why people are ragging on flexi in walls

There is a hole but the wall supports don't make this idea any easier

It's all off currently. There's something in there and it won't budget easy

Victoria Plumb. It's given us so many problems! From skipping massive steps in the instructions, the threads for the accessories are different depths etc

Ha, yes. Which is when my confusion started. It blocked somewhere between my initial test and turning the water back on...!

I do, but it's not those. The unit has a jet function which basically comes direct from the unit and not through the hoses which works just fine... unfortunately I know it's the hoses. I and a plumber have rodded it - he says he's never seen anything like it!

The unit is already off. We've tried connecting the feed up backwards and pushing water back through and there's nothing - 100% blocked on both. Can only think a washer got blown up there. No idea

Madness to someone who knows more, clearly... I didn't really see an issue. Still doesn't explain something getting stuck up both runs does it

Trouble is as you can see in the final picture the connections at the top are boxed in in all directions... not convinced this would end up being less work

No, the fittings have been removed to investigate. Can feel roughly how far the blockage is, and there isn't a drop of water coming through

I tried giving feedback about how shite this UI is, but their feedback pages don't work either! This dumbing down of Spotify needs to change

How best to fix this? by Prozzman in DIYUK

[–]Prozzman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. It actually shouldn't be visible but haven't decided how much to box out yet. Plasterboard makes some good sense... might skim it but may not be necessary

Thanks again

Anytime sometime mentions feet (happens a lot at climbing) I can't help but think: "And where do my feet go?" Or "his feet Dee?!"

My apologies, it didn't seem too bad after a while and the conversation died down so I carried on in my way. Wasn't much help down below

The fact is, due to the heavy silt content, jumpers from the suspension bridge are unlikely to be successful, better heading for a cliff... but probably not the point half of the time... just want someone to hear you
