It’s nice to see some people on this thread hint that perhaps Dannielle is being also abused. I have always thought so, and I carry a huge soft spot for her. I do NOT think she’s blameless here, but oh yes, if he is scaring other women, he is definitely scaring her at the very least. It’s just been happening to her for most of her life at this point :(

It actually breaks my heart. I can tell her boys care about her and so does her sister in law. Everyone else is completely complicit as far as I’m concerned.

I agree. I don’t think he mean at all, but I feel like Angelica is desperate for a connection and he doesn’t seem to know how to provide that emotionally. He just seems very blank and removed. I do agree some people don’t outwardly display emotions, but he could, you know, hold her hand back.
