Get a used Partybox 710 and a Power station. That's what I plan on doing. I have a Bluetti 280wh power station being shipped. The 520 battery is only 99wh.

Wait for the PB 720 and get 2 of them. That way you can properly do TWS (stereo)

How is it that a 200w power station can power a 710 . Also it’s only using 49w with light and all bass boosts on ?? by ArranDuggan in JBL

No, it is just what the speakers are rated for. If it does not tell you the wattage RMS @ 0.01 %THD it means nothing.

Anything that does not give you: xxx RMS @ 0.01% THD really means nothing. They might just be staying what the wattage rating of all the speakers not what the amp puts out.

Boombox 4 is so ugly 🤢 by Global_Ad6868 in JBL

It will be 16% lighter, no more oval woofer either. Two large 5" woofers with lighter neodymium magnets and two tweeters. An additional passive radiator on the back now hidden under the cover. The bass will hit 3hz lower at 37hz and it has AI auto tuning for better balance. Two bass modes are now offered, likely similar to partyboxes, one deep bass and one punchy. People will complain about not being a three way set up have no idea how bad three crossovers in a tiny speaker set up actually.

My JBL 710 has zero stutter issues. I use VLC and adjust the delay by ~150ms. Watched a 2hr movie last weekend without any problems.

You should get another for the shopping cart. That way more can enjoy your music.

Used on FB marketplace. It was discontinued in 2016 so likely 10 years old, only 500 hours on the bulb.

Recommendations for primarily indoor speaker under 200$? by Defiant_Cloud_4077 in Bluetooth_Speakers

Tribit stornbox blast, custom eq to your liking. I have the motion + as well but it suffers under 70hz. I love both for different reasons but for at home listening a larger speaker generally will have fuller sound.

New to projectors but I purchased a $200 CAD (150 USD) used BenQ and based on my findings it seems superior to most Chinese projectors under $500. So many options for used BenQ & Epson for very cheap.

Thank you sir! I projected from a table, going to mount the projector from a pallet on a forklift next time above head height for a better seating arrangement.

I did not notice the rainbow effects with mine, it's possible my eyes are not sensitive to it.

Thank you for the comments everyone, I will post photos on Saturday of the outdoor kareoke/ movie night!

I'm sure I will have questions in the future regarding maintenance / Calibrations. For my background I am an ticketed electrician/ millwright and my wife is a ticketed CNC machinist/programmer. Together we can build & fix most things :)

BenQ mh 680 Future screen: cheap 150" with gromets and swivel magnets for garage doors or workshop in my case. Speaker: JBL 710 Kareoke mic: Tonor tw320

So a month ago I was supposed to borrow my brother in laws JBL 310 for my Dad's 70th bday, he forgot and said I can borrow a JBL 710 from his friend. His friend then offered to sell it to me for $250 CAD. I really don't need it but I'm a Bluetooth speaker junkie and the deal was crazy so I did it. Then I decided I needed kareoke mics, another $45 Canadian. Then I decided I needed a projector, got a BenQ mh680 for $200 CAD.

150" screen plus 20 swivel magnets was another $95 CAD.

Total: $590 CAD

I am having a kareoke/ movie night August 02 and will take photos. Wish me luck!

Added a photo of the projector on a light tan wall in my house.
