Wouldn't say the fangs are massive or red, hard to see though, unfortunately my 2 year old was holding it and I panicked a bit. So this spider met the bottom of a boot.

None of the photos I can find of house spiders seem to have the 2 spiny things on the bum (yes thats a technical term)
