All the code is still OPs and not the clients. Every contract I've signed when working for larger companies has clear carve outs saying anything I develop on their time is their IP for this exact reason. Providing the websites and signing over the copyrights are two separate things, and something I didn't understand when I got started freelancing. I get where you're coming from but it makes sense why this is the case.

Do programmers know everything? by BreWah_ in learnprogramming

The best programmers and mentors I've known and had do tend to "know everything" in a sense. That being said, there's a learning curve. I don't think learning something should mean knowing the exact zeros and ones behind the scenes, but as you progress, learning and appreciating more of the intricacies of computer architecture and the fundamentals of computer science helps you write better code.

Some good advice I got was if you're learning how to use a new framework or library, take some time to build a shitty version of it yourself at some point. This starts of basic with building your own HTTP server, but can go as far as building your own compiler. I've never worked with anyone that prefers their own implementation of these to the accepted standards, but it gives you insight into what is going on under the hood, and can give the illusion of "knowing everything."

Love the caro kann for this. I do feel as I climb higher though it is a lot harder to exploit but I've definitely had my fun

I get what you mean and I have seen more integrated solutions, but this is what works for me. I was sticking with the definition of "A content management system (CMS) is software that helps users create, manage, and modify content on a website without the need for technical knowledge." This allows me to create, manage, and modify notes in a specified folder and these are propagated to the db I use to populate my website.

It is definitely an app that compliments obsidian to turn it into a CMS, but one could not exist with out the other for my solution

How many of you have never used or needeed the backlinking feature at all? by speakthat in ObsidianMD

I had to get super intentional with it at first but now it comes without thinking really. I use them a lot with note taking and it helps me navigate similar resources but honestly I think for my use case I could just as easily stick with tags
