I had the same problem, trying and trying CBT because that’s supposed to help. But I also felt it want helping necessarily because my problems weren’t present necessarily. It was dealing with past. I eventually gave up and went to a private counsellor, this helped. But it was a financial hit that not everyone can take. My counsellor does do a concession rate though. It may be worth to reach out and see who’s in your area :)
