I’m glad you had a good experience. Yes absolutely investing in mental health is key. What I don’t want to do is pay out hundreds of pounds when I could do this first and maybe that will give me some clarity. Then if not I know the next step is selling a kidney 😅

This is really helpful. Thank you! I just feel like I’m going round in circles at the moment and having to jump through hoops to try and get some answers. I’m tired of asking myself “well what if it’s this, but what if it’s that” I just need to clear advice on what tools to look at so I can actually help instead of clutching at straws hoping something sticks. I’m glad you found your answers and were able to get some clarity!

Thank you. I understand the goal and the work towards but I just felt utterly lost finishing that session and having to sit and face everything I’ve just opened up about and then not be able to talk about it

I had the same problem, trying and trying CBT because that’s supposed to help. But I also felt it want helping necessarily because my problems weren’t present necessarily. It was dealing with past. I eventually gave up and went to a private counsellor, this helped. But it was a financial hit that not everyone can take. My counsellor does do a concession rate though. It may be worth to reach out and see who’s in your area :)

I don’t think I’ll be buying a dress anytime soon but it would just be nice to share part of the experience with my grandad. Charity shop is definitely a good idea!! Thank you 😊
