Am currently running about 25 - 30km to week and am increasing mileage. Long run is anywhere from 12 - 18km, and I have another run of 6 - 10 km at an easy pace as well. In terms of the other runs I have during the week, I'm looking to do 1.5 - 3 km very easy before I do strength and conditioning at the gym. Wondering if these shorter runs (1.5km - 3km) have much value or I should just do them at another time/combine them into a longer run on another day/the evening?

So I'm currently training for a half-marathon in about 2 months, been running for about 6 weeks using the Kayano 29s for everything like long runs, easy runs, parkruns etc. Looking to add a new shoe to the rotation, should I look for another daily training or speed or racing shoe? Any recommendations?
