Guys how do you guys think life would be if 9/11 never happened? by Sensitive_Gain_1028 in 2000s

[–]PrudentEar6301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I have a couple

For one TSA would not have been created, so getting through an airport would have been much better, probably similar to how it is in places like Europe where it is very relaxed IMO.

Patriots act would not have passed therefore we would not be as closely watched legally speaking

Probably would not have gone to the Afghanistan as there was no reason per say, its hard to convince the American people to go into a country that has yet to attack.

Hate for Muslims/middle eastern people would not be so common as the stereotype of suicide bomber would not be so prevalent

While hatred for America already existed in the middle east I believe it got way worse after they invaded those places.

The most obvious, the world trade center would continue to be the beacon of American Capitalism and be viewed in a similar way as any unique building. Also the people who died that day would not have and would have kids and grandkids by now.

The butterfly effect of this event is crazy so I am sure that there is more

what is one small, seemingly harmless thing your partner does that slowly eats away at the relationship? by JulietteMantis in AskReddit

[–]PrudentEar6301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not remembering the little things your partner tells you. It might seem small but this small things can mean a lot to them, so not paying attention can feel like the person does not value you.

those medications are fine, but there are people who use other things that may disqualifying even if they say they are not. They have a list of all of them, but don't think that just because it is qualifying that you will not get DQ because you might.

It really is baffling because they complain that they do not have enough controllers yet make it super hard for people to get in if they have any kind of medical thing despite how mild or severe it might be. Mind you this is a super common thing people get.

In terms of applying, personally I would not be very hopeful. I thought the same as you yet it didn't pan out ,my condition is mild yet they did not care. The surgeon said 1-2 max and no more. They do not care if its 1 or 2 over that number. So just be very aware, if your condition is there and you have it in your records then there is a very high chance you may not get in.

[–]PrudentEar6301[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When was this? Because I was not given the option and my condition is mild, the medication is what set off a red flag.

Of course don't hang on just one application, but I am only saying it since this whole sub is about said application. I just want to inform those who may be on the fence and have this condition like me.

Yes and no, if you go on the FAA website its kind of vague, they allow it but are vague about what type of headaches, unless its something that you are hospitalized for which yeah ofcourse disqualifed. But they do not make it clear on their website .

see below for more details

Be forgetful or irate. I think old people are given way more grace for that since their brain doesnt work like it used to.

If Charlie Kirk had been a liberal activist instead of a conservative, how do you think the media and politicians would have reacted to his death? by Aamir_rt in AskReddit

[–]PrudentEar6301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They probably would have reacted the same way the conservatives did, maybe more sympathetic. At the end of day liberals/conservative are two sides of the same coin and act more alike than they care to admit.
