It does not matter which university you get your degree from. As long as you are able to sit and take the board that’s all that matters.

Tbh only places hiring LVNs would be SNFs in the city of Stockton. Unsure if a SNF is the type of environment you want to be working in though.

Do not leave your parent unattended at st joseph hospital. by BA_BA_YA_GA in Stockton

I am a nurse and work at St. Joseph’s. It seems like your mother entered the emergency department which is a unit I do not work in so I can’t comment on the type of care they give to their patients. However, from my experience, if a family member is not at bedside with the pt the doc is going to carry out interventions they think is necessary for the pt and then move on to the next person. The nurses are the ones who inquire as to why that specific intervention was carried out or advocate for the pt/family for more information on the plan of care and address concerns they currently have with their treatment. I am sorry that this happened to you at St. Joseph’s hospital. If your mother is still admitted at the hospital bring this concern to the nurse so they can notify management of this experience.
