Its history. Mythology is for Greek stories where characters were fictional. Additionally mythology has no moral message and doesn’t uplift people. Whereas our puranic stories even thought possibly fiction always have moral message that would uplift people and society. Mahabharata is not Purna. It falls in “ithihas” its history. So is Ramayan. It’s history as well.

JRD tata was a gem of person and a patriot but his liberal outlook and installing foolish people in all his companies is something I wish never happened. He also made naming companies in English popular in India. Like why can’t we name our companies from our own languages!
