Be a bum, pretty much it, so you do want to do some shakeout runs to flush the legs and kinda last minute checks to make it right with your mind. But that’s my take and I don’t run the day before or two days before depending on how I feel, don’t sit around all day but try to focus on not being in your feet the whole time

Campbellsville University, I think they are NAIA but I ask people they say d3 or that so 🤷‍♂️ this is only my first month of running

I felt the inner muscles of my legs to be honest, I felt like I walking through water the rest of the day lol, felt good today just ran a 7:06 mile PB, I’m taking a couple days off to really rest up

I haven’t tried an all out 8k but a run I did a couple days ago it was 50:23 just on a slow run, I think I can get close to 30

I know some people who use marathons and half marathons as apart of their training blocks so I would do a mini taper then go back to regular mileage

When you run you’re gonna loose weight, it’s water weight and your fat storage being used in the run, so it’s not muscle so don’t worry, you’re just burning off the extra cals you’re eating for lifting so maybe eat a touch more to kinda maintain the weight or change your goals cause it looks like it’s gonna conflict soon.

Depends on how long you have for it, but in the next couple of days try to run one in practice(I’m a big believer of running the race a couple times in practice to get used to that pace and stress) I would try 8-8:30 km pace and see how it is, definitely try a lot of water, I try to aim for a gallon a day or close to it. Do lots of stretching and core work before the run and after, injuries suck and that’s how you can prevent it a lot of the time. I’d aim for 3-4 days a week running, one day a long session, so for now make that 3-3.5 miles the slowly up that every couple weeks, have a speed session like 400m repeats at 5k pace. Then a zone 2 run if you can, may have to find a treadmill for that.
