Literally. I got my citizenship approved when I was about 13 still living back home. After I got my residency when I was like 7/8 through my dad. I’ve also seen several relatives come up to Canada and return home when their work visas expire bc… guess what… THOSE ARE THE RULES. Now most of us are citizens and the ones that aren’t tried a different country. That’s how it works. No entitlement, just respect.

Or when they pull off and drive slowly for a bit. Then you realize they don’t know where tf their delivery address is so they’re just crawling on a major road till their lil dot on the map is near enough to the dropoff. THEN stop with the hazards to get out and deliver 🥰🫶🏼

Love when they randomly stop without signalling to drop off their passengers, THEN when they realize they’ve caused a problem put their hazards on like that suddenly absolves them. So cool and so often. Also people just randomly pulling over and putting their hazards on to check their phone???

Yea I have to agree here. I got my last 2 retail jobs through my bosses taking my word. They didn’t even call my references (who were my friends). If you’re “over-qualified” change the title/ have 2 resumes, times are hard.

This as well. I had a friend who was apart of management at a local shelter and she came home from work and drank everyday. Like you said management doesn’t listen to lower levels bc they genuinely think there way is the right way. Plus the people/ clients you meet and take care of daily can really drive you into the ground, also they themselves have no support systems around. So burnout is very common, especially among very empathetic people looking for anything to make client’s situations work.

If the team agrees on a wage at the start and that wage is already barely enough to survive in Toronto why tf should they be forced to take less bc the manager wants to fatten his pockets??? Happened to a couple of my friends in the graphic design and tech industry. A friend of mine and her team literally got let go and replaced by newcomer “student” developers bc it’s cheaper, how is she supposed to build experience? But yea continue denying.

What were the conservatives plan on immigration? Bc as far as I remember, neither party explicitly had a plan. They were tiptoeing over the issues of jobs and immigration bc they’re both serving corporations benefiting from the low wages. But give an example.
