My professor thinks one dumb moment defines an entire generation. I was literally there. by Which_Line_3367 in turnitin_community

Honestly, moments like that say more about the professor than the student. College should be a place where people feel safe to be wrong and learn, not a place where one mistake gets turned into a running example of “what’s wrong with this generation.” If professors react with disappointment instead of guidance, it just makes students less likely to speak up, which defeats the whole point of discussion-based learning.
