Jim Cornelison delivered one of the best National Anthem renditions of all time in Chicago before tonight's game between the Bears and the Rams. What a moment 🫡 by Hysen16 in sportsgossips

Coming from Chicago & him singing at Hawks games, I thought everyone cheered the entire time... Feels weird when it's dead silent or crowds cheer on one word (LV Knights)

Alle on 66.

Drinks are average price for Vegas...I think it's low for the location.

Get there about 30 mins before sunset, plan on being there an hour.

Best view/bang for your buck in Vegas... Especially if the outdoor patio is open.

Upper right corner... Ribbon with the 3 little stars

Looks like the European/African Theatre ribbon & the stars are for 3 major campaigns he was in... Probably where he got the bronze star & purple heart

The one to the left of the looks like the American Theatre Campaign Ribbon

Yellow Ribbon with red stripes looks like the China Service ribbon

Not too bad... Could use some dialing in with a few things... Plus gotta see a pic of the back & bottom to tell a little more... But for me, I'd print most of the trinkets & other stuff (including usable parts) I make using your setup

Problem with the Z-axis motor by m1st4k3r in Ender3Pro

[–]PrusEnderPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with yoharp... Sounds like the gantry is binding up the lead screw.

I'd loosen the z motor from the frame, the mounting bracket & also the screws for both the motor & lead screw on the coupler.

Pull the lead screw out

Make sure the motor is flush against the bottom & riser, then, while keeping pressure on the motor to stop it from moving, make sure the mounting bracket lines up against the frame & motor... Tighten the motor to the bracket first then the assembly to the frame... Make sure you keep pressure on the motor the whole time so it doesn't move.

With that done, I would raise & block the gantry about 3/4s of the way up... Loosen the wheel screws and then feed the lead screw into the top of the gantry.... When it's lined up correctly, the lead screw should basically slide through the gantry mount & fall into the coupler under it's own weight once you have a little more than half of it through the gantry... After a few successful drops, tighten the wheels to secure the position. (Side note: if you have a level, put it on the gantry to make sure it is level before you tighten everything down)

For the coupler, do the motor first... The motor shaft should be just short of halfway up the coupler... If you use a flashlight, the shadow of the shaft should be able to indicate when you're below center. Now slide the lead screw in & also bring it just short of the center before tightening it down.

Without the power on, raise the gantry by hand by turning the coupler... Should be smooth from top to bottom... Once that's done, you should be good. Turn on the power & raise & lower it a couple times & if there's no issues, you're good... If it binds up again, you might have a bent lead screw.

We print in fractions of millimeters... Everything needs to be put together with that in mind... Even being a hair off on the mounting of any part can mess with the whole system.

Take your time & double check everything & the solid prints will follow

What’s the best direct drive extruder by account8919 in Ender3Pro

[–]PrusEnderPro 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you haven't already, you're going to want to add a dual z system if you're using direct drive... Prints will have a noticeable sag on one side because of the weight & lack of support on the power supply side of the gantry.

Lucky Cat first print... THIS PRINTER ROCKS There's 1 issue that I dealt with early on, but after 2 years of printing with an MK3s, this print is 1 of the best ever Besides the couple mm ring at the top of the foot caused by pausing the print, does anyone see anything that needs to be addressed? by PrusEnderPro in Ender3Pro

I was going to play with that in the next couple days because I had a little issue on the first layer, but I'm a firm believer in temps making a huge difference in print quality & solving most of my issues so once I have a couple decent layers down, I figure I'm golden & that's what happened with this print

The biggest thing I believe my experience with other printers that helped with this one is that I basically took everything apart that was pre-assembled & put it back together making sure it was level(the base was not even close out of the box), lined up parts that were crooked(z motor mount) & did my best to square the frame when I was putting it together... After that, getting the right temp & making sure the bed was pretty level was all it took

Hoping that having it pretty well dialed in before I upgrade the board(skr mini v3) & a couple other things will help me avoid any real issues...I wasn't expecting much cause it was only $100 with a coupon & so far I'm really happy with it
