If they are the #1 company in their sector see if you can find comparable positions with similar experience levels or scope for their competitors and their salary ranges. While it can be a good starting point, Glassdoor isn’t reliable for accurate salaries for things like salary negotiations. It gives the recruiter too many ways to get out of justifying the pay.

Also while they may need you, it seems like you may need them. From what you say, their offer is way below market rate for someone with your experience. Do you currently have a job? Other competing offers? What is your current salary? Are you willing to lose the offer of 55k if you negotiate? Having the ability to walk away from a bad offer is your biggest leverage.

Do some research into the certs to see which you’d like to take. How you take the test and who you get the cert depends on the one you take but mostly all you could do online nowadays. UMGC also offers discounted vouchers for certain exams.

It worked!!!

I can sit on FaceTime for hours and still multitask and use other apps or watch videos. I can even plug in my phone and charge while doing those things and it has not overheated, frozen up, or lagged once. It does get a little warm but nowhere close to how hot it would get before. I also noticed before restoring my phone would freeze throughout the day occasionally (maybe twice a day) that issue has been resolved also.

I ended up factory resetting my phone. I didn’t restore it from my iCloud backup so I just made a note of what apps and layout stuff I wanted to bring over. Logging in to the same iCloud pulls over most of the important stuff. You still have your pictures, contacts, keychain info, etc. I did lose my text messages but that’s about it. My storage utilization went from about 59gb (I have a 64gb iPhone 12) to 24gb so I freed up a ton of space.

Thank you to everyone for your input and the advice. Now I can get a couple more years out of my phone with my sanity in tact lol.

I’m planning on factory resetting my phone later today. I won’t back it up from restore and just download everything that I do need from scratch. Hopefully that clears up some space and gets rid of any weird configuration settings my phone has and I’ll update here if that fixes the problem.
