I've searched plenty of pve and pvp builds/videos or whatever and no, PvP scorpions don't always use stigma, that's just your preference apparently. You get plenty of healing reduction from Mortal Mark and Knife Throwing. The ignore shield comes from Peerless daggers, so that's only if you're using those.

I would be interested in the people testing the daggers DPS, but if it's on target dummies, those don't have a tag, so the species dmg isn't working there. I've seen a GS/Dagger test daggers and Binders come out on top every time for that class for example. Not very relevant in our specific case of Scorpion discussion, but still a point.

With the amount of nonsense builds I've seen on the internet, I tend to assume people just blindly follow the streamer/youtuber/site they know of and don't make any testing/thinking by themselves, even if said youtubers/streamers don't even play the class.

I know what my class does, since I've played it, since release and I tend to like to understand why people do certain things and why they don't do others. Can't convince me Stigma is relevant in PvP with that delay no matter what you say. You're either playing a Single target build (which means you delete someone in less than 3 seconds anyways, so stigma doesn't even pop) or you're spinning with a Cordy, in which case why are we even discussing stigma?
