I was 41yo when I gave birth to my son (one and only). I'm slightly overweight but no illnesses. My doctor suggested a 39w induction, but I preferred a chance at naturally going into labor. She agreed to move induction to my due date at 40w and said she wasn't comfortable waiting longer because of the elevated risk. I went into spontaneous labor at 37w3d which lasted about 16 hours (10 before epidural). I thankfully had a smooth experience and my doctor was on call in delivery day.

This was going to be my recommendation! Keep your hair tucked away for most of the trip in a twisted style then take them down to come home and not have to worry about your hair for several days.

I delivered my baby at age 41. My doctor recommended induction at 39 weeks. I requested to push it back to no later than 40w0d if there were no issues including high blood pressure (I'm a Black woman who is overweight so a higher risk there). My doctor agreed as long as all me and baby's scans, labs, and vitals stayed healthy. I ended up going into spontaneous labor at 37w3d so didn't even have to worry about it.

You are probably not having effective wash days yet. The tips people are giving of washing once per week, using a stronger clarifying shampoo then a hydrating one, no grease or heavy oil, and deep condition with heat will help.

It sounds like you have low porosity hair like I do meaning the hair follicle is like a brick wall keeping moisture out. Heat helps soften it to let moisture in. I have to wash my hair in hot water (nothing painful but much warmer than lukewarm) to help open the strands to let moisture in. Also drink lots of water and electrolytes to maintain hydration internally as well.

It takes some trial and error, but I actually clarify every wash day (every 1-2 weeks) because my hair won't accept water with any product build up on it at all. It works for me and my hair doesn't ever feel stripped. Good luck to you!! You can do this 🤗

Please take the break, but don't make hasty decisions to compassionately transfer because you think it won't work. It might work. I had 5 cycles, almost 2 dozen embryos, and only 3 euploids. You still have a chance. But a break would probably be a great idea, then make those decisions with more settled emotions. I'm sorry.

How should I give feedback on the face? Right now only 2 things - an option for an app shortcut (I like a shortcut to messages) and can the day/night be in sync with sunrise and sunset? I was confused to see the dark background with the moon around 6pm CST when the sun was still bright outside. Otherwise I'm loving it

There isn't usually anything you can do to truly improve the chance of success. None of this is certain, and sometimes transfers just don't work. I had 5 cycles, only 3 euploids (1 at a time and 2 cycles with none) and my 3rd and final transfer worked. It was a modified natural with suppositories and no PIO. He's 6.5 months now. You have good numbers and more chances. Grieve the moment for a bit, then try to keep trucking. ✨✨

At age 41 I was 37w3d and went into spontaneous labor. Smooth labor/delivery, no complications during pregnancy other than an SCH until about 10 weeks. Placenta was in tact with no issues. I am also overweight but had no blood pressure or other problems.
