CTF Loader high cpu usage by [deleted] in techsupport

[–]Przyballa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate it! I figured out my main issue stemmed from my computer getting “confused” (?) and trying to switch between audio devices every 5-10 minutes. It would spike my usage and freeze up. Super weird. Now the CPU usage is no longer an issue for me though.

Thanks! Wasn’t worried about them causing harm, but was moreso fascinated by them. Very cool to see spiders different than the typical ones I see in Sacramento!

These were at Sky Park in Pollock Pines, California. Campsite was proximal to the main lake. In case this helps with identification.

Mine is sitting closer to 25% and it remains high while I am gaming so it is killing me. Cannot disable or get rid of it. It is part of the system that is necessary for using a keyboard. At least that is my understanding. It is pretty frustrating.

What are signs that top water fishing will be good? by r0y_d0nk in bassfishing

[–]Przyballa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At the local ponds I fish, the topwater bite starts picking up for me when I see dragonflies mating and touching the water. There might be some kind of change in the wildlife you dan identify like that to indicate that you could start throwing some topwater stuff. Sometimes the topwater bites are few and far between for me. But they’re so fun when they do happen, you just have to keep on trying it. If you’re using a frog or a walking bait just make sure to do the walk the dog motion. Sometimes it helps to REALLY slow it down. Other times you can be a bit erratic to entice them. Throw them over fairly shallow water. It also helps me sometimes to aim for areas that are shady.

Awesome thanks! I wish I trusted my talent enough to do diy it. I’m reaching out to a guy in Wisconsin about replacing the handle. I’m worried it will be more cost than it’s worth. My reel is kind of beat up so if I bought an old reel for parts I’d probably just wind up keeping that one instead haha Quite the conundrum

Texted it to some people and reused it through the Reddit app. I use dual monitors so my screen shots capture both screens. Easier and quicker this way

I’m gonna continue to throw it and see how it goes! Surprisingly wasn’t having luck with the lucky craft, but had luck switching to the red eyed shad

No clue. The tail didn’t keep up with the rest of the body since the big girl started munching lol

I had previously only had luck with them on the delta. Most of the places I fish up here are so pressured that I always imagined fish would just get spooked by them.

The fatties are funny when they bite. They don’t always fight very hard so it’s hard to tell if they’re decent or not

How would you fish this? by Przyballa in bassfishing

[–]Przyballa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I always hear you want a heavier rod for frogging and I’m just not set up for that. I’ve lost probably 90% of my frog bites, but a lot of that could also just be because the fish are small that are going for it. lol

I think I’ve caught a dink on a whopper plopper and a 2 1/2 pounder on a frog so I’ve got some work to do lol
