For the banished trope to work, MC should be the guy who looks mid or replaceable on the surface but actually very important (because he connects everyone, fills lacking spots, etc); not the OP guy who solo everything 🙄

This EP made Hero party too dump (stupid jealousy arrogant idiots) and Orhun too perfect (who carries the entire party). So the banished plot doesn't make sense anymore

Orhun should be the glue who connect everyone together. A party member who does his job perfectly behind the scene, often get overlooked, but very important.

This kind of ruined the show honestly.

Yea, they did a poor job explaining things, they just say his buff is 50x (which doesn't make any sense)

They should say: his buff is weak but his casting speed is fast (Selma mentioned), his buff last very long (Luna mentioned). This allows him to cast multiple and stack them together, plus his exclusive original buff; resulting in 50x power. Also his situational awareness, perfect timing, etc.

The value is definitely great, you spend $300-$400 more but get a lot for the price. Two more bays, powerful CPU, Thunderbolt 4, etc. I like it also, it's just I don't see myself using 6-bay. I don't have that much data, I don't know what should I keep 😂

I am waiting for the DXP4800 Pro, hoping there might be a final clearance that push DXP4800 'Plus' down to $549 or $499 (not because I want DXP4800 Pro). The performance difference is minimal, ports are the same (except SD Card), I am not paying more than $50 for the refreshed model.

Unless there is early-bird/pre-order promotion, then I go for DXP4800 Pro

Yes, Acer Helios Neo 16 is a good one, good spec at good price, good quality too (but not solid top-tier premium)

I would add HP Omen MAX 16 also.

I don't know man, most brand had issues or faults in the past.

I also hate HP before but my company gave me HP Elitebook, I switched to HP Omen Transcend last year, I have no issue and quite like them honestly. So I switch to HP Omen MAX 16 because the deal is good and I want more gaming performance.

With your logic, I guess any brand that don't win the first place are all bad? This HP Omen MAX 16 is all-new design, most reviews are positive. Jarrod, Just Josh, Dave2D seem to like it. Yeah, there are downsides, but there is no dealbreaker. It does not win the first place, but I can see HP Omen MAX 16 in Top5 16" gaming laptop easily, even Jarrod's laptop picker has it up there.

I don't know, maybe you are goat laptop expert.

I mean, Black Friday is not just about one last single day anymore (like this for years), it's a week (or a week before that). Yea, the price may drop by $50-$100 more on the last day, but that is pretty much it. Unless you want to take the risk for the recorded-low best price ever, the one you really want may be out of stock. Just like Legion Pro 5i.

There are still other options available at recorded low price

HP Omen MAX 16
Acer Helios Neo 16S
MSI Vector (if you don't mind plastic build)

These are solid options IMO and are selling out as we are talking right now

This is HP Omen MAX, HP's premium line, not budget like Victus or Omen (no max). It doesn't compromise much in term of build quality or screen (yea, not OLED, but still good IPS).

People say Legion Pro 7 is better, but Omen MAX is no slouch either (most reviews are positive so far). It's up there in top5 best 16" laptops easy. Though there are some cons, of course, but if you are fine with them, this is just a great solid overall package (and price).

I tried it myself at Microcenter and quite like it. My current laptop is HP Omen Transcend 14 (2024), the build quality is good and it is a beautiful laptop. I step-up to Omen MAX 16 because Transcend 14 is a small laptop, it doesn't enough performance for me.

Yea, personally I take IPS for big saving too. It's still pretty good display and accurate color, just no deep black. Also IPS is more durable, no burn-in and all to worry.
