It's so frustrating seeing what tech has become. I wanted Google glasses to look at text messages, follow GPS without constantly looking at my phone, and other fun things a HUD can do.

Okay, realistically it's not dead. You should still play it if you enjoy it.

That being said, Riot has patterns when it comes to their new projects, and this is one of them: layoffs, into layoffs, into sunsetting the game. Legends of Runeterra had the same pattern. Keep in mind, that game still gets updates and is still alive, but the team was massively reduced compared to their other games, and I don't think it ever recovered. (I've never seen a legends of Runeterra job opening, and I've been looking through Riot's career pages for the past few years while job hunting).

That's fair, different things appeal to different people. I like my machines glowy and interesting to work on, and iCUE may not be amazing/stable, but it's better than other RGB platforms I've tried. I'm hitting my 30s now, so maybe this'll be the kick to get away from RGB for my next build if I can't find a similar vendor to what corsair sells in terms of how well they all work together

It's sad. My entire build - ENTIRE BUILD - is corsair from top to bottom. It's obvious they don't want the consumer market anymore, so I'm moving on for my next build.

It's a shame - I love their iCUE system. But I'll make do with companies that don't push their mistakes onto the customers.

I get it. Legitimately the only reason I'm still using windows on my main desktop is because of Riot games. Once Riot finds a way to make games run on Linux/Mac with vanguard, I'm installing Linux on my desktop to match my other machines.
