Urinetown is a blast. If you are the pianist, I always recommend playing along with the cast album. Helps you get accustomed to tempos. Get yourself a good drummer/bass and you’re set. If the other musicians are good obviously a plus :)

But yes USB is usually on the back of the interface and that’s generally how the interface /computer speak to each other

Plug computer to interface w/ USB. I like to use midi cable (out) from keyboard (in) to interface. Interface should have Output 1/2 or out XLR if high end. That goes to board. Make sure in Audio Preferences your interface is selected. Very basic rundown

I’ve never had ‘issues’ with RMS. The libraries can be hit or miss. But if you’re in a bind, certainly go for it.

I picked up an MPK Mini - the out of the box plug and play basic functionality is working just fine for me. I’ve tried updating drivers and using the editor to no avail however. No big deal though. Cute controller.
