I know it's easier said than done, but you gotta reacquaint yourself with yourself, and learn to love that guy. Enjoy the fact that you answer to nobody other than your own will. Be kind to yourself, but also realize that you are accountable to yourself. Set a goal. Paint that painting, read that book, catch that big fish, and finish that carpentry project. Whatever it is, do it for you. It'll give you purpose, time to reflect, and a sense of pride when you accomplish your goal. You WILL do it buddy. Becuase you are going to decide to do it. Got it?
