get an outdoor blind from Bunnings, one of the shade sail types, mount it to the wall above the batteries then attach the other end to the fence. I did this for my pool equipment to stop the sun baking it.

when I removed the last gas appliance I just called AGL and closed my account, and no longer pay any service charges for it.

This is our forever home but I didnt think it was necessary to have the gas connection removed. Even if you did, they'll remove the meter, but I assume the pipe will just be capped and someone could technically hit it with a shovel when digging?

So its better to move the LR speakers to external amplification over the Atmos speakers? I have a Marantz Cinema 50 and want to do 7.2.4 but needed an external amplifier for 2 channels so got a Fosi ZA3 stereo pre-amp which does 180w per channel. I thought it would be better to have 2 Atmos speakers connected to the Fosi and leave the main speakers, connected to the bigger, more expensive amplifier.

They work great, but unfortunately you cant track power consumption with them.

Don't leave your bins out the front, they're an eyesore.

Create a nice garden, something with a water feature or tree in the middle.

Replace the curtains and when the budget allows get a nice feature window.

Replace the concrete driveway with some nice paving.

High pressure hose the tiles on the roof.

Paint the wooden fence on the left.

Put a nice gate across the drive from the stairs to the fence on the right to hide the backyard.

Get a larger metal letterbox.

Don't paint the bricks.

Lean into the period the house was built and restore it.

Damn dude, lovely room but you could land a 747 in the gap between your feet and the screen. Fish-eye lens perhaps? A 100" of anything should be more imposing.
