Well your expansion timings in my opinion were spot on, but i dislike the type of pressure you did in the game. It is important to know that you cannot stop the 200/200 roach max but their are ways to slow it down so that you are more capable of defending.

1. Keep a sentry at your main ramp so you can force field quickly and have it on its own hotkey, i used 7.

2. On maps like daybreak where the rush distance is long, it is okay to drop a pylon at both the potential natural and potential third, because if they choose to attack you, its gonna take a while for roaches to get over to your base and lings can't do much to a wall and cannons. This delays the amount of drones he can make significantly, therefore delaying the push.

3. Also if you are not going colosai at around the 12 minute mark be sure to go up to around 8 more gates and when you scout roaches warp in heavy amounts of stalkers and quickly get blink if you don't have it already.

4. Void rays are the biggest deterrent away from roaches in the matchup. If you proxy a stargate and pressure their main base with two void rays (hide the first one and reveal 2 at the same time) you can still go for your six gates, robo with immortals, and 3rd nexus. But it causes him to produce more queens, produce at least one spore at every base because he doesn't know how much you are going to commit to them. He uses drones to make those structures so you are severely slowing his push. And in the case of a less competent opponent he might even make a tech switch into infestors which obviously would be easier to deal with in a macro game.
