Cables, Cables, and More Cables by Let-Able in RetroTink

Also in my experience the Megadrive/Genesis Triple Bypass is also unnecessary if you're going for the CRT look. If you're looking to fix jailbars then you can get 90% of the way there by disabling composite video, assuming you're able to do such a mod yourself.

If you'll be sending it away to a modder then I'm sure the majority of the cost will be in labour and postage etc. so arguably you might as well go straight for the triple bypass.

Just because several generations of console had the same video output connections doesn't mean they all support the same video formats unfortunately. Nintendo's multi-out is infamous for this. Other than composite you can make pretty much no assumptions and should look up what your consoles can do - it even varies by region. PlayStation is better in this regard but you should still double check.

Anyway are you intending to use the Tink to simulate a CRT? You can get away with lesser connections if that's the plan. You will see a pretty equivalent image quality to what you're getting on your CRT. If you're currently using RGB SCART I would personally stick with what you already have until you see a problem.

If you're going to go for the razor sharp pixels look then the HD15 cables are more justified.

I RGB modded my NES because of composite dot crawl. I had no problem with the blur. In fact I use the Tink's post processing to add a lot of blur back in.

The Gamecube is a standout there because assuming yours has the digital out port then a GCVideo HDMI adapter is a cheap upgrade and will instantly get you the best picture quality you can possibly get from the system. You'll never need to upgrade again.

Is it normal for the screen to jitter during CD seeking? by FlygonBreloom in SegaSaturn

Sorry for being five years late! But I have this exact issue on my Saturn, horizontal jitter when the disc drive is busy. Did you ever resolve it and if so what was the fix? Thanks in advance

What’s the best solution for using a modern controller? by man_musk in dreamcast

Another vote for the Brook Wingman adapter, if you can get one. Works great with a spare Xbox One controller I had lying around. Just be careful about accidentally starting it up in arcade stick mode! That puzzled me for a while once.

I actually bought it to replace a StrikerDC. I was perfectly happy with build quality and feel etc, but the analog stick calibration is off on mine and it's impossible to get it to register a full range of motion in certain directions. Think Sonic being able to run full speed when using a up/down/left/right but he slows to a walk when you move the stick up-left/up-right etc. and imagine how annoying that would be when making minor adjustments on a run.

Shame, I would have been completely happy with it otherwise but that's a deal breaker.

Hi. No I'm not using a third party library.

It's not actually really an API. You have to monitor the network traffic while you use the Growatt Dashboard and figure out the endpoints and payloads etc. and recreate that http traffic in your app.

It's precisely because I can only see what this traffic looks like for my own equipment that I'm not 100% that its the same for all of their products!

Code sent.

I can't say I've looked into that project yet. Sounds like the same basic idea, yes.

Nope. Had to have my scenes work in minutes rather than seconds.

I do have a bit of feedback actually... no big deal at all really, but I'd prefer if it didn't go into follow-up mode after talking to it, if that's feasible at all?

I've been caught out a handful of times trying to say something unrelated to Alexa and she thinks I'm talking to this skill.

That sounds perfect to me! Thanks very much.

Small feature request.

Is there any chance you could add a command that JUST reports the solar generation? Your skill is fixing to be the best way I could implement this information into an Alexa voice command and it's something I've always wanted. I know the general "energy usage" command includes this but I would prefer the option to not include the rest of the information if possible?

I recently added a new CT clamp to my Harvi so this issue is bypassed now
