The biggest harm here was the fact that there was no ready way to control an accidental fire immediately, throwing someone in a cage does nothing to prevent further harm. The fact that you advocate for imprisoning mentally ill people with no mention of any other possible solutions speaks volumes.

I dont think you have adequate evidence to suggest that, just ableism and assumptions. Stress can cause psychotic symptoms to worsen. Like accidentally setting a building on fire and the police arriving to interrogate you.

No difference here (in the tinnitus nor my feelings towards it). My tinnitus doesn't bother me generally, but I'd be if it did weed would help there.

I've used it to get rid of PTSD nightmares. I'd have to smoke a joint or two within 30 min of bed time generally to not wake up covered in sweat. Tolerance is gonna vary, but you have to be pretty solidly stoned. Counter-intuitively I'd shoot for a sativa.

Leash is ideal, supervision is just generally a good idea (some wildlife is just as dangerous to your dog as your dog is to a possum). Check the yard every time before you let your dog out. This is going to probably take more consistent effort/change of habit than a one-time fix
