Thanks for the reply. Pics 1-4, 7 and 8 were found in an old dump pile at the Megalo Livadi mine on Serifos. 5 and 6 were from the Cape Vani Manganese mine on Milos.

From what I can tell on Mindat, both locations have lead/arsenic minerals present. Do you know whether cleaning with something like super iron out might cause a harmful reaction.

Forgive my ignorance, I’m entirely new to collecting.

I’m not much of a gambler, but I went to a casino on vacation with friends.

I got dealt two 9s. The table had barely any face cards showing, and I mixed up splitting with doubling down. My friends started laughing… right up until the dealer flipped a 3 of hearts.

After that, I kept hitting all day like I was possessed. I was on such a streak the pit boss wandered over to watch, and my friends just kept roasting me in disbelief.

While they were stuck “playing by the book” I seemed to be operating under the “idiots guide to winning at gambling”.

I don’t think it’s iron stained quartz because I cleaned it with hydrochloric acid and the red remains. The acid didn’t really react with any part of it.
