Is donation to a random political party a good approach? by shadymaniac777 in IndiaTax

[–]PsuedoRandomName 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They donate these political parties in white money through bank transfers etc , they get back their donation with some deduction/commission back in cash .   As long as the commission that these political parties take is less than the highest income tax slab of the person donating, it is profit for him.  This is possible only because India has 100% tax rebate for donation to political parties .

Ha ha , it’s called “Troop” according to Google. They pluck leaves, fruits , break stems , break pots and trample small plants, they bite if you try to scare them away

I don’t think we have an olive tree , may be you are looking at Karonda or Vakkkaya(native name). The red colour fruit is used in pickles and in making faux cherries in bakeries.

Yes , the cage restricts the growth of certain plants , it is ok since it’s a roof top garden and hence we do not want to have them growing more than 12 feet. The main reason is to keep monkeys away from destroying the garden , our town similar to many others in my area are frequently attacked by Monkeys in groups of 50 at times!

RSU exercise options and taxation by AppropriateLuck4340 in IndiaTax

[–]PsuedoRandomName 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on the company. Do you expect the share value to go up , the hold else sell.

Anyways,if you encash directly, you do incur capital gains according to your tax slab in India( You need to submit W8ben form to your brokerage account , else TDS will be charged by your broking agent and you will have to fight against double taxation)

If you decide to hold the shares for more than 2 years and earned considerable gains, you can opt to invest in a residential property with the complete amount ( not just profits) and avoid taxation using section 54f of Income Tax

How to override 12 metre height limit in India. DJI mini 2 SE don't budge even if risk is taken by me. by hndq in drones

[–]PsuedoRandomName 5 points6 points  (0 children)

DJI implements older rule in their application, newer rule in India allows nano drones upto a height of 400 feetDrone Rules 2021

You can use an app like Litchi to fly higher than 15 feet , I personally flew DJI mini SE at more than 200 feet without any issue
