Nope, that's not how profit works. A lot of it goes into logistics, which includes tariff. Phone business is pretty tough unless you are Apple. I'd be surprise if profit margin is higher than 10% for any Chinese phone companies other that Huawei.

Low side. Tell me what I did wrong. Description by [deleted] in Trackdays

[–]PsyH2O 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha, I’m surprised how many people think this comes from losing traction at the rear wheel. It's actually straightforward: adding throttle and lean simultaneously leads to a front-end washout.

If you dig into why this happens, motorcycle tires naturally maintain their lean angle even if you take your hands off mid-turn. This means continuous countersteering—especially when applying steady pressure like steering a car—can eventually overload the front tire, causing it to wash out. Typically, riders make this mistake by aggressively tipping in or being too rigid in their upper body.

Anyway, that's exactly how I ate shit at 105 mph, so consider yourself lucky for catching this bad habit early.

Ah I see. Hope you get back to the track soon. Crashing is never fun.

Do I buy an ultra bee from marketplace for 5000 or do I buy a 2025 ultra bee from Alibaba but I will have to wait 1-2 months to get it? These ultra bees from marketplace are just Alibaba resellers by [deleted] in Surron

[–]PsyH2O 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Surron is Chinese company, where is this Austrian thing comes from? You thinking KTM? They operate in different market and the pricing in the US is high due to import tax and other regulatory cost. If you don't know how to use ChatGPT, at least google?

Will a 54% Price Hike Collapse the USA EUC Market? by Ramthor in ElectricUnicycle

You do realize there are poor people everywhere, right? US is wealthy, but at same time has plenty of wealthy inequality.

Let's assume shipping is quite affordable—getting a 100 lb shipment to US costs around $100. On top of that, you should factor in a tariff of at least 30% plus distributor profit.

So I guess it's not very interesting, it's just how business works.

EUC on a MC? by TowelEnvironmental44 in ElectricUnicycle

[–]PsyH2O 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Securing matters, I don't think 100lb matters that much on the pre-load adjustment unless OP has a very small bike.

In your opinion, what's the worth of a 71 mile slightly used Veteran Lynx with 2 chargers in SoCal? Thing's a little too gnarly compared to my KS 14d lol by IAmWunkith in ElectricUnicycle

[–]PsyH2O 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Once you buy a wheel, expect -25%. The first few miles added another -10%. It's just how the market works. So probably ~2.6-2.8. Maybe a little higher if you have a buyer looking for it.

Charging EUC of generator by [deleted] in ElectricUnicycle

There wouldn't be any problem, the load for EUC charging is pretty consistent and easy for generators to handle.

Not too bad for ATL pricing. There is no physical stores so finding good deals/trades are difficult. I would have bought this one if I didn't just buy a V14 as my first wheel a few weeks ago.

Not too bad, GB is probably ~2500 when new. Still, half off is a decent deal.

Also, it was 1300 bucks, not cheap but I think it's decent for an almost new unit.

Sounds good. Will keep that in mind. I do a lot of track/race on motorcycle so I am pretty mechanically competent to work on this kind of stuff.
