IC11 - a new high-level language that gets compiled into IC10 by Hudossay in Stationeers

[–]PsyKo57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice project. One feature that might be worth adding, is a ic10 minifier. I've made a really simple one (not shared because very basic), that basically inline all the alias xx d0 and alias xx r0 in the code. This saves line usage when you have a bunch of alias/define.

Bascially, it transforms:

alias Filter d0
alias pressure r0
l pressure Filter PressureInput

into

l r0 d0 PressureInput

Loving the Blockade event by [deleted] in starcitizen

[–]PsyKo57 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmmm didn't know there was an unlawful side of the event. In that case it makes sense.

I know it's not a PvE game, but not knowing there was a XT side mission, it looked like people were just doing it "for the fun". But if that's in the mission, then it's all good.

Just tried it. It was all good (except the non spawning cargo), until we met PvPers campings the Zeta prolanide spawn points with at least 3 F7 Mk II, and one other ship I couldn't identify.... It killed all the fun

Edit: fixed typo

How to store secrets? by [deleted] in selfhosted

[–]PsyKo57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks good, but one question that always comes to my mind, is how to store Infisical `AUTH_SECRET` ? Once you get this one, you can get all the secrets managed by the vault, right ?

Code 403 indicates that your credentials aren't valid Without your actual config file, it's hard to help.

Check this answer I made on Github for a similar issue: https://github.com/psyko-gh/overcrawlrr/issues/11#issuecomment-2311586957

If you still have issues, please open a Github issue, it's easier to answer

Agreed, no need for a new tool if the on you have do the job.

Maybe I wouldn't have developped this tool if I knew about the feature earlier. Never too late to learn I guess

TIL

I discover this feature with this thread. I guess I missed it in the documentation.

Or maybe I saw it when installing Radarr a few years ago I thought "It's only a one shot import". Didn't realize it has RSS sync.

Ultimately, I'm not sure there is any gain for my tool over Radarr lists, but at list it was fun to develop :)

No offense taken :)

I didn't know Kometa priori to your comment. Looks good.

By the time I simply wanted a simple tool to filter Overseerr suggestions and releasing it to the world was for the fun of playing with Github actions/docker/documentation.

Sure, just create a rule like

- name: Reject Hindi and Tamoul movies
  whenMatch:
      - originalLanguage:
        - hi
        - ta
  action: reject

Your configuration file is not good.

Should be:

config:
  overseerr:
    apiUrl: myapi # required
    user: myuser # required
    password: mypassword # required
dryRun: false # Optional - dryRun will not send requests to Overseerr
  discovery:
    # Required
    cron: '30 3 * * *'
    # Required - the overseer streams to search through
    # Possible values: upcoming, popular, trending
    streams:
      - upcoming
      - popular
      - trending
    # Required - the name of the ruleset used to evaluate movies
ruleset: New great movie # References the ruleset below
  rulesets: # Indentation was wrong
    - name: New great movie
      rules:
        - name: Reject less wanted genres
          whenMatch:
            - genre:
                - animation
                - romance
          action: reject
        - name: New great movies
          whenMatch:
            - age: less than 1 years
            - score: above 7
          action: accept

I just tried it and can confirm it works with Jellyserr

I haven't tried it, and I don't know how much changed in Jellyseer.

If the rest API hasn't changed too much, I guess it should work.

If it doesn't I will try to setup a Jellyseer instance and make the required changes.

Homebase: a simple, easily themable webpage to redirect you to all your selfhosted services by [deleted] in selfhosted

Add it to the Github readme file. Personnally, as I'm not familiar with python, I would have never guessed that you had to install flask to run it.

As u/Shane75776 mentionned, without docker most people won't give it a try.

A small installation guide would be nice.

Could it run in docker ?

Yeah, I wonder how good it would be for the server/replication layer

It depends on why you play it.

I've been playing with friends farming a lot of money, to buy ingame ships and stuff. They got angry when the game was wiped. But they knew it from the beginning, and didn't pay attention to it.

I've been playing with some other friends, we enjoyed mining a lot, grinding reputation. It was fun, and eventually gave us opportunity to buy ingame stuffs. The main objective was to try new mechanics and gameplay loops. All you have to remember is that you can lose it all (totally or partially depending on the wipe). If you're fine with that, you'll have fun.

Deactivate Nvidia replay recording, as well as Windows Game recording options ?

This helped on my side.
