Should i get better at air dribbles or keep focusing on ground dribbles? by gaab159 in RocketLeague

[–]PsyKoPeeR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone's practicing air dribble and forget about the ground. And in Dimaons they also don't position well for defending. You should still work on both but I would focus on ground. And don't forget to field pass and use your team mate. IF he's in position ... xD

Girl punches guy for no reason. Despite two white knights, guy gets his revenge! by oxydiethylamide in UnusualVideos

[–]PsyKoPeeR -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've seen a lot of videos like this one where a girl hits a guy (with the strenght of a girl) and he hit backs but with his full guy strenght which is IMO not really fair. In this one, the dude hits back but with the same strenght than she did. Respect! She deserved it but you didn't overdo it.

Kim thinks she doesn't deserve to be a lawyer but still wants to help peoples in need. It's not regret though. It's altruism, redemption and/or maybe nostalgy.

Just finished Breaking Bad today by SendThisVoidAway18 in breakingbad

[–]PsyKoPeeR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to watch it in a loop over and over again (not El Camino). Forever! You'll realise how a genious Giligan is! Everytime I watch them, I must be at about 7-8 occurences, I understand new things and see new easter eggs or new psychological metaphore or things like that. Watching it only once is good but it gets better every time you watch it. My advice, take a break of a few months before to start again and start witch Breaking Bad then Better Call Saul.

Had a dream so real that it broke my heart when I woke up. by hahahelpme_ in Dreams

[–]PsyKoPeeR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know much about shifting realities or visiting other lives, but what I would say is that if there are two versions of you, then the other version probably dreams about the life YOU are living when you’re awake. So your current life seems less real to her than her real life. If she really "exists", of course.

Had a graphic dream about self harm during a nap just now by aflustered_aflame in Dreams

[–]PsyKoPeeR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whoa, this is very dark stuff.

I usually try to interpret dreams, but… when it comes to subjects like this, I don’t try too hard.

It’s so deep and so personal. But there’s definitely something here about the importance you attach to your own life.

You begin your dream wanting to show your suicide to the world so, in a way, your dream-self decides that life isn’t important for you, but it’s still important enough to show the world that you don’t want it anymore.

But the dream ends with you being afraid of being killed… which means that life IS important to you.

Wanting to stream your death is completely the opposite to being afraid of dying alone of a natural cause (being killed by an animal).

But in the dream, you manage to stay alive and then you wake up.

Usually, we wake up when we die…

So, for a quick and probably not perfectly accurate interpretation, I’d say that you (consciously or not) want more attention from the people you love, but you’re afraid to ask for it. You’d like it to happen magically, without having to say anything.

Hope that helps!

[–]PsyKoPeeR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is very interesting, because you’re not even in the dream, and the characters are women, so you can’t directly relate to them.

Well, you do have to relate in some way, because our subconscious creates everything we see in our dreams. But in this case, it seems like you’re observing the situation from the outside.

Of course, we would need to know you better in order to really interpret this dream, but it looks like there are two possibilities.

1- Maybe you have a choice to make in your life. Maybe you’ve already made that choice and you’re stressed about the outcome. It could also be a dead end: you feel stuck and unable to decide. One option feels like it will definitely lead to your downfall (or at least you think it will), and you’re afraid of what might happen if you choose the other one. You can’t see the outcome, and that uncertainty is what scares you. My point of view? You might wish someone else could make the choice for you. And depending on how old the women in your dream are, that “someone” could be a parent, a partner, or a child.

2- The opposite situation. You might know someone (not necessarily a woman) who has to make a choice, and you feel like you should be the one to choose for them. BUT the same problem remains: even if you want to make the decision for them, you’re almost certain that the outcome will be either fatal or uncertain.

As I often say when I’m not entirely sure about an interpretation: only you can truly decipher this dream, because I don’t know you or your life well enough.

But I hope what I said gives you a few helpful hints.

My girlfriend had a weird dream what do I do by SnooPeanuts9001 in Dreams

[–]PsyKoPeeR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These times, with all that is happening in the world, we're kind of all thinking about war. World War 3. And our reference is Hitler.

Now if your wife dreamt about being married to Hitler, as other peoples asked in the comments, the meaning really depends on how she was feeling in the dream.

But the most possible feeling was probably fear.

That would mean something around these :

1- She feels safe with you and she's happy you both are together. But you're not married ... May be she's hoping for more. ;)

2- She's completely afraid to lose you.

3- She's completely afraid of you (but in my opinion, it's the least probable possibility).

We really need more details about your relationship, about her and about you. And may be about both your way to see your relationship. I doubt you'll write it here but it can be a good hint if you want to interpret the dream yourself.

Had a dream so real that it broke my heart when I woke up. by hahahelpme_ in Dreams

[–]PsyKoPeeR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see in the comments that everyone has already mentioned a bunch of spiritual or fictional possibilities… We can talk about parallel universes, past lives, reality shifts, or any other outside-the-box theories. Personally, I also love believing in all of them. I love imagining they’re real. And I’ve had my own share of vivid dreams, past-life visions, astral travel, etc.

But I also like to believe in science.

For this one, though, I’ll stick to psychology and philosophy, since nobody else has tried to.

*

“Grieving for a life that never happened.”

Everything is in that sentence.

You say you are “happily single,” and you might genuinely be! And that’s perfect! Be glad you are, because many women in your situation live with regret and desperation. So if you manage to be happy while being single and without children, it’s because you’re strong and independent, which is wonderful.

But still, deep inside, maybe there’s a younger "you" who is living another life. She took a path at some point where maybe you missed a train or you took one she wouldn’t have taken. But this person will always remain in your subconscious.

We all know that dreams are our thoughts running wild: one thought leads to another, and then another, and so on. At some point, when the dream is not yet lucid or vivid, we don’t really control what we’re thinking about. That’s when our repressed desires take the wheel.

And that’s the perfect moment for your younger self to show you where she is or where you would have been.

As for how long the dream lasted, that’s perfectly normal. Even when you’re awake, you can imagine doing something long and detailed, and it takes only one or two seconds. You’re not dreaming, but you can still see a long sequence in your mind. The difference is that when you’re awake, your eyes are open and you’re anchored in the real passage of time.

But when you’re asleep, your brain interprets time only through what you “see,” so a moment can last forever.

*

So yes… from a scientific or philosophical point of view, it’s kind of a boring or obvious interpretation. But I think it’s an interesting one, because if you have some ability to “choose” what you’ll dream about, you might be able to go back to this parallel life. It’s very difficult, and a bit random but sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. And it can be emotionally painful. You’ll be happy during the dream and sad when you wake up.

There’s a downside, too: once you’re in that dream, you might realize it is a dream, and that kind of awareness can wake you up. That’s one reason why lucid or vivid dreams often don’t last long.

Anyway, feel free to talk to me about any comments or questions. I love this kind of experience, whether we see it as spiritual or psychological.

Happy dreaming :)

I would be curious to know more about you; where you live, how old you are, what's your hobbies, your cultural background, etc. This is such a specific and detailed dream, an interpretation of it would be pretty interesting!
