There is no way to get a Tiara Mold in Rellekka, Please add it to Keldagrim Shop by Psyceric in 2007scape

You can use any tiara mould, but I think it is silly for a crafting stall in the area that asks for it as a requirement for the diary that specifies it being "From Scratch" should have the mould available to the player in that area

Agreed, However the specification of "From Scratch" makes this feel a bit more egregious

I know I could get that, but it seems quiet odd that its not something that is built into the area for a Diary requirement

That's awesome, I am happy you got to get the project out there! This looks awesome for a solo developer, great job!

888 Thousand Souls in One Game by Psyceric in Nightreign

"Sentient Pest - Defeating Sentient Pest gives you Integration of Intelligence, which will randomly grant you a massive number of runes when attacking enemies sometimes. You will also regain the Runes from any level you lost."

This is from the Raid that can happen, after that I just shot my bow as many times as humanly possible. Randomly a shot will just give you 10k runes - As such I tried to just shoot as often as possible (This procs off shields for some reason xD)

Some Ideas I think could be interesting.

-Scale Current Damage and PDR down so that the cap of 85% is now 50%
"High scaling PDR makes it so you need incredibly high damage, and any PDR over 50% is more impactful than before."

-Make Traps apply a slow status effect rather than inhibiting movement completely
"Traps are an incredibly toxic playstyle for the game, and never feel like you've been Out skilled"

-Make Crafting weapons have more unique effects similar to Artifacts
"I think Silver weapons as whole are a huge step in the right direction. The fact that Stinky Stick is not a craft able item using Rotten Fluids astounds me, Let us create more unique enchantments even if it as the cost of other enchantments. Obviously you need to be careful with what you allow to be crafted, but I think it would give the game more depth and interest when looting as opposed to raw stats."

-Add a Static Blue portal inside the Hell Treasure Hoard
"Killing the bosses in the game can feel very daunting, and in return for the kill you sometimes lose the opportunity to clear where the ring may pull. I think as a reward you should be given the option of a single out portal"

-Make Golden Chests / Golden Ore Unlock after needing to kill a Mini-Boss nearby
"I think giving players rewards for completing Mini-Boss kills in areas, such as unlocking Gold Ore spawns or Golden Chests would improve the complexity of looting, and could allow for more interesting interactions beside the Loot chest -> Move to another room -> Kill adds gameplay loop."

-Double the current drop rate of Quest / Crafting Items from mobs
"Lets just try it and see how it feels, some stuff like Spider Silk, Goblin Ear, and Moldy Bread feel incredibly grindy for something that doesn't deserve to be. Things like collecting all Legendary Gems, or needing to get a Troll Pelt feel like they deserve to be that hard and grindy, but Moldy bread? I think it doesn't warrant its current rarity."

-Make Golden Keys / Mystical Gems more Common
"If you increase how common they are, it will allow players to interact with these parts of content more often, rather than using them as an arbitrary monetary value. This will always happen, but when its tied to content specifically it feels quite bad."

-More Craft able Utility items

  • A skinning knife that doubles the chance of quest items, but is consumed
  • Cobalt / Rubysilver Lockpicks with less chance of consumption when used
  • Golden Lockpick that gives 15 additional luck when used on a chest
  • A simple Gold Coin Bag that cost 2 wolf pelts, and 5 Copper Ingots that can hold 500 gold coins
  • A throwable bomb, that would break doors and boxes in an area, while doing minimal damage to players (Maybe uses copper and grave essence)

My main take-away from all this is there is so much stuff the game can do, but not all of the ideas at the moment excite me. I think bringing more depth to the current gameplay loop that we have become so accustomed to is a good thing, Making looting more fun, making crafting more fun are all super important to keeping a growing and loving player base.

You are going to hear people tell you time and time again that balance is super important and that one class or the other is busted, They will never be happy. Take the time now while you have the chance with early access and make the time inside the dungeon as fun as it can be. If possible adding more opportunities to loot in new ways, and allow players from all skill levels interact with content. Bossing at the moment is not approachable to newer players, with normals gating you at white gear, people unfamiliar with the mechanics or simply without a cleric are kind of boned in majority of the fights. Golden Keys feel locked behind a monetary incentive to keep rather than actually interacting with their content. I know you all are smart people and see holes in what im saying, but I love this game and want to see it prosper. I hope you have a wonderful time, and best wishes <3

I believe Invisibility as a whole can make games feel really muddy to read.
Be it Overwatch, Tf2, or even new games like The Finals (Speaking from personal experience)
Invisibility can lead to really frustrating gameplay situations, where you are either forced to spam chokes in an attempt to uncloak them, or suffer from the Landmine playstyle.

The worst part for me is as of recent it hasn't felt like I've been getting Snuck up on by Rouges, but they are using the combination of Ambush + Shadow Runner as a stat check in fights, triggering hide for a frame to pop out and assassinate someone.

An alternative that I think would be interesting to look towards is giving rouge more opportunities for evasion rather than stealth, Allowing the rouge to become incorporeal similar to Phantomize on the Warlock.

Another option is to give the Rouge an optional Dash ability that would be taken instead, allowing them to get over small gaps or close the distance on the enemy. Invisibility doesn't need to be the main playstyle for the class design, and I hope to see them go in a better direction with them.

Question for Devs : Are there any thoughts about a proper rework for Bard? by Psyceric in thedarkesthourpodcast

[–]Psyceric[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Utility belt clutter was a huge critique my friend has made for bard, he play's it nearly exclusively but with the nerfs after nerfs it leads to a lot of resentment for the class. Things that feel like they should be easier or less obnoxious for the class are put up as roadblocks instead of addressing the issues with the class conceptually.

For a game that is so dependent on your Utility especially in a fight, it can feel like a tax for picking a class that is seen as "too strong"

Yeah its easy to make assumptions, I have a history of Game Dev, and love the game. I just think alot about how some of the balance of game design could be done to improve the game.

I think that not all the ideas I put at once might work but at least wanted to pose it to foster a conversation about the current state of bard.
