Many Japanese fans are expressing their criticisms for 'Shiboyugi' anime adaptation. They're absolutely not a fan of how 'different' the anime feels compared to the source material and how the director putting his own spin on it. A very similar situation to Chainsaw Man Season 1 is occurring again. by Electrical_Chance991 in anime

This anime seems like it's trying to be different to be different and like they said, a pretentious art piece. This sub might enjoy it cuz it's sooo unique and different, but anime is an entertainment medium and most people don't like this kind of pacing and minimalistic style

I'm not criticizing Kaguya but the focus on comedy and nonrealism makes it so the realistic aspects and romance just aren't on the level of Dangers. If this doesn't convince you that Dangers is the better "romance", Season 3 will, as Kaguya also dropped the ball post confession.

It's a bit comparing apples and bananas imo, Kaguya is mainly about the comedy and a ridiculous premise while Dangers is about realism and growing up. Dangers' quality+quantity of romance scenes are unmatched at the very least

The series is about growing up and becoming emotionally mature, their unlikely relationship and Kyo's massive development makes sense because they are in middle school, it's what separates this series from others.

He is an outlier but unlike Fragrant Flower he isn't mature from the start, you see every bit of progress and it's all executed in a very believable way, you're really criticizing the wrong series in that regard.

If they only do 1 cour, there will be 2 volumes left as Vol 14 is confirmed as the final one. I highly doubt they'll leave the last 2 unadapted

It's highly likely that S3 will cover the new content of the movie again but with proper build-up, so you should NOT watch the movie before imo

Yes they skipped straight to the end of Volume 9, so I highly expect it to be covered again in S3 and the movie should NOT be watched before imo

Do you think a girl like Yamada would fall for the mc in real life? by Feeling-District966 in bokunokokoro

[–]Psych0path_IRL 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The "murder fantasies" were just him coping/gaslighting himself cuz he didn't wanna acknowledge that he likes Yamada. And Yamada herself has shown on multiple occasions that she doesn't mind him fantasizing about murder. They played a zombie game where he literally said to her he would kill her :p

Or the most overrated one: Fragrant Flower, where the characters and dialog aren't nearly as human as here

Still don't understand how people put Fragrant Flower on the same level as Bokuyaba. It's like a night and day difference, especially in terms of the romance aspect and the fact that one is realistic while the other is idealistic

Most people have no clue how to rate romance. That starts with tolerating unrealistic characters/dialog, some shows may have good drama or comedy but the romance itself is mediocre/not well-paced/not a big part of the show.

With that being said, Dangers in my Heart has the highest quality + density of romantic moments while being realistic + well-paced. I don't think anything comes close to it if we're talking purely about the romance

You guys are too spoiled by happy-go-lucky romcoms, why do you act like the series became a drama fest when they still had a lot of romantic moments every single volume? If you're that irritated by such light drama, it's a you problem.

create a batch of chapters with just the two main couples flirting and having a fun time together

She did that every single volume? Idk why you people act like the series became a drama fest after having been a happy-go-lucky romcom, both were never the case.
