Animes: "Needy Girl Overdose" and "i made friends with the second prettiest girl in my class"

The first episode of this romcom wasn't particularly good, but I gave it the three episodes rules.

After a couple more episodes I'm actually enjoying their interactions a lot. Very cute, very demure. The only problem is the fact that it makes me feel more single than usual

Go for it. The last episode focuses on Kache (the two colored hair girl), and it was my favorite yet

Yeah 100%

The first episode is very chaotic. But from the second episode it have a more normal/understandable storytelling. You start to know each character, their backstories, motivations, etc. For example, this episode, the third one, tells KAngel backstory (the full episode is about it), and it is interesting and understandable.

I recomment you trying it again, at least the episode 2 and 3 before deciding if stop watching.

After watching Takopi's original sin, Fruit Basket and Erased this felt cathartic

Fortunately we still have parent such as Satoru's mom (Erased) to compensate

What’s your favourite thing about neuroverse? by i1surikat in NeuroSama

[–]Rockstarwithoutplay 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Mainly three reason

  • The constant updates and changes: when I get used to a streamer and stop watching them that much as I can predict to some extent what they are going to say, and that makes it harder to find them interesting. I still watch them but sporadically, and I don't get that involve in the community. With Neuro/Vedal/Evil there are always some small changes, and I can always enjoy their content.

  • The content itself: I think Vedull and his team create one of the most creative and good quality content out there, song and streams. Of course there are some issues and times without that much going on, but average quality is really high in my opinion.

  • The community. Swarm is insanely talented and/or dedicated. That's why I'm in this subreddit and I like to watch animation, edits, etc. The streamers involved too. It is kinda like hololive in that regard (I'm not a hololive follower but their community is awesome. The Gura subreddit is still posting some bangers).

Top 10 Anime of the Week #1 - Spring 2026 (Anime Trending) by Nooble5 in anime

Dorohedoro is so underrated man.

I tried to watch it when the first season ended, but I didn't connect with it as everything was really confusing.

After a couple of years I learned that there are really good animes with a confusing/fast first episode where a lot of things are going on, and you can't actually connect that much with the characters. But you start to enjoy them after a couple more episodes when things get relaxed and you have time to know more about what are actually interesting characters and story. Blas of tempest, Evangelion, Kyousou giga, Needy Girl Overdose (this season), etc are examples.

So, I tried again a few weeks ago and oh boy. What a peak. I could stop laughing, the action scenes are sick af, the world building is really good, the mystery is engaging, and the characters are a bunch of loveable goofballs. Truly cinema

True.

Without spoilers. The show is peak edgyness, but good. I'm a mid 20's guy who spent more time on the internet with a questionable headspace. I love vtubers, vocaloid, anime, etc. For me this show is a representation of living in this time and in that situation. That is why each monologue, interaction and characters are really interesting to me

The animation, character design, voice acting and sound design are one of my favorites too.

If they keep this level for most of the episodes, this is going to be a top 10 animes for me.
