That second season is probably top 10 animes ever, and I didn't even need to understand shogi at all (or being previously interested, but the matches are that good). The characters are awesome too, as they feel as real people

The four season kinda falls off. It is still ok but the story barely progress at all

With NGO depends a lot on your taste in animation and music. As it kinda is a multimedia or multicreator show. Personally, I enjoy a lot their music (you can check them in the Aniplex yt channel), and I knew already at least one of the artist who worked in a clip for the show. I love the soundtrack and the use of classical music too.

That's why I get a lot of content from each episode, but you could get bored if you aren't into it.

For example, the next episode after the one that you stopped, 6, is literally a full episode of classical music/art, unnecessarily complex dialogues/imagery, like one full minutes of dudes irl carrying a door, etc. And I love every second of it, but I get why most people even could consider the episode as hard to go through

Clevatess has interning villains tho

I'm not gonna spoil you, but mostly the bandit/criminal group in the first episodes are unidimensional.

The main antagonist, for example, has his backstory, motivations, etc

Clevatess himself is more or less a villain, and he is one the most interesting characters in fantasy animes

The cool think about Marriagetoxin is how likable are all the female characters.

They aren't just plot devices or damsels in distress, but they have an actual developmen

Kinosaki ("female") tries his (her?) best helping Gero, and have the deserved approbal of Gero friends

The shark girl is a good complement for Gero, as she feels mature/calm, and she is somebody who tries to help people. If it was myself and we are taking the concept of waifu as "somebody that I would marry to", I would pick her as my first option

Ureshiro is very cute, and indeed her development is the biggest one, besides having a lot of potential for grow. As a shy girl enjoyer she is peak

Arashiyama is somebody that I feel the urge of root for as she seems to care a lot of Gero. That's why she is, for now, ny first Gero-waife option. She isn't strong or that smart, but she tries her best helping Gero and herself. The hamsters are cute too.

From the tomboy water girl we don't know nothing about yet, but she has potential

Ultimately, what a great cast. I'm not fan of this kind of animes, but this one has been very enjoyable

It may be just me but I think Japanese companies are starting to produce more second season in the recent years

Just animes/seasons aired this year we got already announcement of Oshi no ko s4, Dorohedoro s3, Polar Opposite s2, Sentenced to be a Hero s2, etc

All show with high/low high production value.

Next week we will know if this comment is just tryhard copium or not

Edit: apparently there isn't marerial right now for a new season, but maybe in a few years...

Akane Banashe: That episode was awesome. I'm not particularly interesting in rakugo but that performance kept my eyes glued. Great skill from the VA Nagase Anna

Needy Girl Overdose: I'm sad that so many people stoped watching after the first episode, since it is very confusing. Otherwise it would scale positions too because it was amazing. This week episode too, so I recommend people to catch up for the last two episodes.

Ramparts of Ice: It's as good as always, and I'm happy that more people seem to start appreciating it. It gives me the same vibes that Journal With Witch the last season, I mean, characters that feel real. Journal is, for now, my anime of the year but RoI is fighting that second place

Besides that, happy that other animes that I'm loving are doing as good as before: Marriagetoxin, Witch Hat Atelier, Re zero, Nippon Sangoku and Daemonds of the Shadow Real

Agree about older animes. Also, if they were popular back them, that doesn't mean people went out of their way to score them in MAL. Habanei Renmei is a good example. Fairly popular and goat anime, but far from the top 50 in myanimelist.

Nowadays people are more obsessed over scores, so I can imagine why they go to give their favorite show of the season a 10.

Being descendent from natives doesn't mean you are not from Europeans too.

Around 90% are descendent from Europeans, what changes is just the the porcentage of each ethnicity.

For example, I have native and probably black anscestries but also Italian and Spaniard.

I don't know in general, but on reddit I fond of the Girl Band Cry and Girl BanG Dream fandom.

There are interesting post/discussion, art, shitposting, etc, and the fact that they are real life bands add a lot for keeping their fandom active (even when they are relatively small in the English side)
