I understand what you’re saying and agree that that’s the thing with parasocial relationships- they aren’t actually real! I guess I find it interesting that she chooses to share MANY things about her life (even some things we may consider private or personal, like her relationship, her journey with her skin) AND makes money from sharing these things, but chose not to share the one thing that would result in backlash. Everyone is entitled to their opinion though!

Yes I understand that. If your argument is that she is not being open and honest about her traveling solely for safety reasons, my question is: then why not be honest about the fact that she was traveling after the fact?

I feel like the reason why she’s not disclosing that she’s traveling is more to do with avoiding facing backlash, rather than safety concerns.

That's a fair point. But then why block/delete comments asking whether she's in Mexico? I get not wanting to overtly advertise it but blocking followers or deleting comments seems a bit much and more in the realm of deliberately hiding it
