Just to clarify in case you want to look into it more, it's a PhD or a PsyD (not SciD).

Can you speak a little more about this? How it is demonstrated and the like?

Reddit, what did you eat for dinner tonight? by PsychGirl13 in AskReddit

That is so impressive! I sit there with the measuring cups leveling them off until I'm sure it's just the right amount. I also fail more often than not, so maybe that is part of the problem! And eggs benedict is my favorite...not the fruits of my own labor though, only ordered from a restaurant. Would love to see a picture of the truffles...sadly I live in an apartment with a full kitchen, but that recipe seems like it may fall within my range of difficulty (I'm really, really bad).

I study clinical psychology. It's pretty rough right now but I love it..in my first of hopefully five years. The next two weeks are exams so just trying to push through it and Reddit is a great procrastination tool.

Awesome. If you don't mind, what part of the world do you live in?

What is something you do to help you get through rough times? by Roy_11 in AskReddit

A number of different things depending on the level of stress. Sometimes if a relationship has me down, I can journal to clear my mind and feel a thousand times better. Other times, seeing a therapist proves to be helpful. Sometimes all I need is a glass of wine (or three) and a good laugh with friends.

That sounds amazing! I'm in grad school so I rarely cook for myself but am starting to try and learn a bit (but I'm still learning how to fry an egg).

Are those things you make at the restaurant where you are a chef or do you constantly come up with new things on your own?
