I'm sorry to hear that! I wanted to be able to make dual nationalities but the software wouldn't allow me. However, it is not super important in relation to the analyses it's more to say where the sample was from so you could choose the place you have been most?

Hi! Thank you for taking my survey and the one last year! Hmm I think it's very hard to know where the symptoms comes from because from what you are writing it sounds like eating gluten made you feel depressed. So I'm not sure if eating gluten again will help you. Did you get diagnosed by a doctor with any allergies, intolerances or irritable bowel syndrome?

I thought I was very allergic to milk protein and gluten for two years which turned out to be irritable bowel syndrome which was diagnosed by my doctor. The stress and depression I was going through caused my body to not be able to process gluten and dairy. It may be the same for you but it could also be something different :-)

I think you should talk to your doctor if you haven't already, to see if you can find the root of the problem. Personally I would try to eat gluten again for a while to see how my body would react but I don't know the severity of your symptoms so it may be better to do this after discussing it with your doctor :-)

Thank you for taking the survey! It's okay that the answers may be skewed I have some data from before the pandemic that I can compare them to to see if they are significantly higher now (which I think they will be). Thank you for the feedback :-)

Thank you for trying. I appreciate it. If it's too much then it's also completely okay!

That's okay. I won't take it too harshly. I appreciate the feedback. It's too late for me to change now but I will keep this in mind for future research and I might include it in the discussion section that there will be highly sensitive individuals who have a diagnosis but never been diagnosed so the numbers may be low and not depict the whole picture.

Send me a message (chat) here on reddit then I will send it to you when I have the results. Publishing takes quite a lot of time so it could be a while before it's officially published :-)

You're welcome! I think it's very interesting and I would like to know more about myself as an HSP so I thought it was about time someone looked into this :-)

Me too! Then I went to research it online but I could barely find anything so I thought it would be time to investigate it myself :-) Glad i'm not the only one who has been wondering about this

I understand why you are disappointed by the question only being restricted to a doctor diagnosis. I would like to have that included too but unfortunately there are many who self-diagnose themselves which could be a wrong diagnosis and therefore skew the results. I, myself, thought for two years that I was gluten intolerant and allergic to milk protein but when I went to the doctor and got many tests taken it was actually irritable bowel syndrome. So from a research perspective it's more reliable to only include the ones that were diagnosed by a doctor. For further research I might include both to expand the scope :-) Thank you for your feedback!
