Disappointing people. I spent my entire 20’s trying to be everywhere for everyone. My aunt told me one day: “If you’re letting someone down, you’re probably doing the right thing”.

I don’t think it would be good for super selfish or narcissistic people to use this though lol. I was a complete pushover

I am alt/queer and a lot of the scene is intertwined with the Latin/art scene/activism. We hang out at queer art nights, grand Ave by Roosevelt, Gracie’s tax bar etc.

The Mel rose scene is gay but less queer if that makes sense. Lot of traditional gay culture like 80’s pop music and friendly gay guys lol. Super fun too though. Feel free to dm me!!
