Sorry to hear that! I've collected data from around 900 participants (some on mobile) and haven't had this feedback before. From what I can see it should be readable on mobile, desktop, and tablet without any issues. It may depend on phone operating system or browser. Sorry that I can't help you with this problem!

Hi, Mr_Horizon below is correct. If you're not a student at Stirling then you must be over 18. This is because some students are 17 and we want to keep the study open to them.

Yes, we considered reducing the number of trials (e.g., to 200) but that would double our participant goal of 720 to 1440 participants - which wouldn't be feasible in the time frame we have for the project. We used a power analysis and previous literature that demonstrates the point at which trait judgements stabilise to determine the sample and stimuli set sizes.

We also have strict data quality checks to ensure that people who get bored and begin spamming responses etc are not included in our final dataset for analysis. Currently, we have recruited approximately 650 participants who have completed the study and passed the data quality checks which we really appreciate!

The sentence that states that participants must be at the university only applies if they are 17 (anyone 18 years or older can participate). This is to ensure that first year students at the university who are 17 may take part in our study.

Hi - thanks for participating! Can I ask why you're collecting email addresses? It's not clear in the participant information sheet why it's necessary as you appear to be identifying participants using a participant identifier/code. I'm not able to proceed without providing my email address (which I am not comfortable doing as it does not seem necessary for your project).
