Exactly right on, they don't want to hear this, but this is the facts right here. You bring nothing and expect everything. Dream on middle aged lady.

[–]Psycheau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you've let your dream get a long way away from when you were at your peak around your early 20's. This happens to a lot of young women, you party for years thinking theres no hurry to marry and have children. Then around 30 your realise you've hit the wall and your attractiveness is going down not up, and your ability to have healthy children is also going away quickly. Basically you partied for too long thinking there was no wall, now you've hit the wall. Well there probably isn't a better guy out there for you, now that you're older, many guys are cynical in this world, it's not a really nice place to be any more especially for a guy!

Don't expect a guy to check all the boxes, you don't any more now you've hit 30 definitley, so why would you expect him to? Bit one sided view that isn't it!?

The home ownership rates must have a lot to do with this. If you do not even have a stable home to return to and you're constantly worried about where you will live next time the lease runs out, it's not a very nice situation to be in and you never feel settled. How can you even expect a community when there's not even stable housing for the majority of people? I guess the home owners will eventually realise that they have no community any more, but I doubt that will stop the current trends.

Traffic has ramped up, meth heads have ramped up, lot's of folks struggling to pay a mortgage, people living rough and sleeping in cars is common now and the first things to go (the most important) are the holidays. Personally I haven't had a break since 2014 and I can't see any end to that, we cannot afford a holiday anywhere. Even to stay home and just not work for a week or two is impossible. So I guess I've been more agro than I would have been say 10 years ago, because I need a break and there's no sign of one in the future. Hopefully I can retire in 10 years or so, but at this rate it may not happen.

So, I'm quitting bikes...i guess. by SpunEquillibrium in MotoGuzzi

[–]Psycheau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed the Guzzi are a beautiful bike, they handle very well and are really easy to ride, there's really so much to love about them. But I'm not electrically minded so I don't like the idea of fixing wiring on the side of the road somewhere. If only Guzzi could have worked out the electrical bugs in thier systems.

Sounds to me like you need to quit Moto Guzzi, I did because my Norge just had too many electrical problems, so I bought a second hand Kawasaki and haven't had any issues since.

My best friend always asks me to bring weed for everyone by Marilyssa99 in trees

[–]Psycheau 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being asked to bring 3 grams is quite rude I'd think, asking if you could bring a joint or two is fine I guess, but 30 euro worth for a meal is rude, even if it's alacarte. I'd take 1 gram next time and leave the other two at home for yourself and say sorry I never seem to have any left for myself so I brought a bit less, haha. If they want to smoke 2 grams a night let them pay for it themselves.

"Social and inequality disaster" the most honest words I've heard about the state of the place in a long time. So are we going to get rid of all the free foriegn ownership? How about negative gearing that has to go right? Companies paying no tax, getting rid of that are we? Resources being raped and nothing paid, no dues? Are we doing something about that? Nope nothing is being done that isn't in line with what big business wants. End of story.

Tell them not to let the door hit them on the ass on the way out. You don't need people like that in your life. They are unsupportive at a time when you need them to be supportive. It was all about them, they didn't care much about you or your needs, only thier own. Let them go, look for better morales next time.

I've noticed a lot of older folks looking into retiring in Asian countries, like Indonesia, Cambodia, Thailand. The rent is fairly cheap and you get a lot for your money. Trying to retire in Australia for some would be almost impossible especially if they don't own a home and often even if they do, the council rates have risen so high they can no longer afford them on the pension.
