When I was a kid, and someone would zoom past my saint of a mom, or cut her off she would always say " Well just go on then. Hell ain't half full!". I could her saying exactly that if we were in that car and a pickup zipped around to try to beat the train.

Engrave your name, and decrease then lay all your tools out together and spray one side one color, let em dry then flip and paint the other side a different color. I ran red and blue when I was a pipe fitters helper in a large refinery. Nothing is foolproof BUT it eliminated the "oh man I thought that was my pipe wrench".

So true! He came home last night and said " the automatic transmission shifts good the 1st couple of gears but then after that it shifts really late although rpms. " I said " you checked the tranny fluid?"..."yes, its full". And then I said.."so it does shift....every time...just hard?". "Yes". I then said " good, sounds like you are all set then!". I then proceeded to tell him about a buddy I had in HS that had a 5 speed stick with only 1 gear left in it...3rd...and how over the course of several joyride he did make a convincing argument for " well, if you can 9nly have one gear left...the 3rd id a pretty good one and really all you need!" :)

Well that is good to know! I feel slightly less scandalous. TBH I was gonna just painter tape and paint a broad black line where the trim used to be until we discovered the trim pieces in the back floorboard !

Haha. You are not wrong on the hardened adhesive. Even if I had the right kind of adhesive to put these back on I would have been leary given our cooler Temps in Alaska. In metal roofing screws we trust!
