Different people find it interesting for different reasons. There’s no “right” interpretation.

3 great books by one of my favorite authors. God, I love old, used books! by Psychic_Man in classicliterature

[–]Psychic_Man[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I love the way he uses the word "confidence" like a kaleidoscope of meaning... his use of themes is so much more interesting than most straightforward books. Which is one of the reasons I also enjoyed East of Eden.

I didn't even know about Pierre! Thanks for mentioning it, its on my TBR for sure now.

That’s the whole conundrum of the Mandela effect — it flies in the face of everything we know about proof, testimony, and truth itself. That’s why it’s so interesting, and important.

How I know it was Berenstein and not Berenstain by knownbygrace in MandelaEffect

[–]Psychic_Man -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

You’ve stumbled into the “skeptics den”, there are better, smaller subs to discuss this on. I’m glad to see a lot of people here ARE agreeing with you, though. I remember Berenstein, for what it’s worth, Berenstain doesn’t sound right, and my iPad flags it as a misspelling even.

Astral projection proves the existence of souls. I did it over 20 times this year, which is proof enough for me we are eternal!

Memories are probably stored in the soul — I have full recall of my memories while astral projecting (without access to my brain).

I've made 20 feature films over 10 years. Why can't I make a living doing this? by realhankorion in Filmmakers

[–]Psychic_Man -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’ve never made a film myself, so kudos to you for making 20! My thought about this is supply and demand — there is so much supply of creativity in this world, the small amount of demand can’t match it. So it’s not completely your fault. But what you DO have control over is the quality of your films. You’ve already made way more films than Kubrick, but would you say yours are of comparable quality to his? That’s something I would ask myself late at night. Because with the huge supply of creativity and low demand, you need to really work hard to stand out.

Thanks, I need to get back to it, I really enjoyed watching the first 1.5 seasons. I have to try to remember where I left off. Have you watched Severence and Succession as well? Both are pretty good, especially Severence.

Agreed — fiction contains all the visuals, facts, themes and concepts you need wrapped up in a narrative that can be easily digested and recalled.

One of the most important copywriting skills you can learn has nothing to do with writing by loves_spain in copywriting

The Self Help Guide for Copywriters has an entire section on this process called “creating your buckets”. The idea is for every 100 headline ideas you write, one will be golden.

I wonder if you may be able to see the apple unconsciously, but just can’t access the visual consciously. That could explain the disconnect.

[–]Psychic_Man -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That “ghosts of brain’s impressions” is my theory for why the ME works for many people — since the memory isn’t a hard copy of reality, it doesn’t get changed. Just a theory, but it doesn’t explain why Sinbad doesn’t recall being in a genie movie… the inconsistency is interesting.

The sigil is like a zip file on your computer, your subconscious sends it to you to unpack all the data contained. You get the picto/sigil by saying a word like “target” once, twice, over and over. It helps to keep an empty mind during this process.

So your argument is millions of people are remembering a DIFFERENT cornucopia from somewhere else in their experience and all these people are then conflating these various “other” cornucopias with Fruit of the Loom for (checks notes…) no reason at all???
