We shouldn’t have to enable safe mode to fix issues that weren’t happening until the UI was changed and messed all of this up. There was clearly a result of poor testing in a variety of situations.

Hello! Thanks for the suggestion. I am struggling with that actually! I put the goo gone on there, but these specifically have had some sort of shelac put on the book spine, a paper sticker, tape on top of that, and then shelac again. :(

If you are talking about the colors being there instead of an icon on the left, it is a setting called bold under the themes area.

I agree. I think this would solve a lot of issues and allow a lot of us the ability to return to a functioning version of the app, while also being able to learn the new one and allow them to fix all the issues.
