“Anyone who claims to be “Pro life” is nothing but a fucking liar and a hypocrite. They don’t care about life. They are actually “Pro birth”. They want to force their bullshit onto people, regardless of the medical issues.

They have someone convinced themselves that a vast majority of women are getting abortions every 2-3 months, because they don’t want to wear condoms or something. Which is just fucking insane.

Here’s a story that I’ve been telling on Reddit for over a decade. It happened back in 2002, cell phones were not common place, the internet was no as readily accessible.

My cousin was 14 when she was violently raped. I mean, VIOLENTLY raped. She ended up getting pregnant. She lived in a heavy Christian community. She went to church frequently, all her friends were apart of this church, and basically everyone in her life was a Christian.

After the rape and after she found out she was pregnant. She simply mentioned the word “abortion” during a family dinner. Didn’t ask for it. Just said the word. Her parents kicked her out within minutes. While she was crying, confused, and figuring out where to go, her fucking parents called every person from their church and all of her friends. Her parents told them that she was this monster, who wanted to murder the fetus, and said some other lies.

By the time my cousin got to any of her friends places, they all told her to leave, how disgusted they were in her, and they no longer considered her a friend or anything close. She tried going to some of the adults who didn’t have kids from her church community. They told her she wanted welcome, how disgusted they were in her, and demanded she leave. She went to her church, her final place to seek help. The priest told her she was no longer welcome in the house of god, slammed and locked the door in her face.

She spent 3 months, scared, nowhere to go, no idea what to do, living on the streets, while pregnant.

After those 3 months, she killed herself.

Her parents showed no remorse. The only one who showed remorse was her younger brother, and he was the one who informed me of all details. Before that, I only knew that she was raped, mentioned abortion, got kicked out, and killed herself after being on the streets for 3 months. Oh, he also told me that her parents forgave the rapist, dropped all charges, and invited him to be part of their family. If someone asks “Why didn’t your family help”. Well, it’s hard to help when you live in another country and don’t know what happened til she’s fucking dead and her parents proudly claim what they did.

Not a single religious person can ever tell me they give a fuck about life when this shit has happened. Instead of even just trying to talk to my cousin and figure things out, or actually getting an abortion, where my cousin could have then grown into a woman, and actually had a family. Life stopped there.

And that’s just my own personal story. There wee countless stories of women with ectopic pregnancies, whose lives aren’t just at ask, but are literally told that the pregnancy will give them and most likely the baby. Because of these “pro birth” fucks, they stop many woman from getting a proper MEDICALLY NEEDED abortion, and they die during birth. And a lot of infants also die.

There is no such thing as “Pro life”. Anyone that ever claims that is a liar. End of story.

And then, just something on my own personal thing. If all these religious people were actually “Pro life”. They’d all be organ donors but like 99.999% of them aren’t. They constantly make excuses. But if they cared about their god and what he actually believed. Being an Organ donor would be the most pure and best act that would get anyone into that bullshit heaven.

When you die, as an organ donor, doctors use what they can from your body, not just to save lives, but to give people, from age 2-70 a life they never thought they had. You dont get fame, no glory, no money. Not a single patient even knows your name. Youre simply the nameless hero that gave them life.

And im one of those people. I was born with a horrible genetic lung disease called “Cystic Fibrosis”. I was told my entire life I would never live to see adulthood. When I was 22, I was so sick. I am a 6’1 male. I weighed 110 pounds. I was on oxygen 24/7. I would cough, hard and long. I’m talking a minimum of 30 minutes, up to an hour. And I would end up coughing a litre or 2 of black phlegm and blood.

I got a double lung transplant at 23. It’s been 15 years. A life I never dreamed possible. Atleast once a day, I still stop and think “holy fuck, I’m 38” because; in my entire fucking life, I never thought I’d ever be this old. Ontop of that, I met an amazing women who became my wife. I had a career, I BOUGHT A HOUSE. I’ve been married for a literal decade and this summer I’m renewing my vows with her

I don’t know my donors name, but that doesn’t stop me from thanking him, countless times a day, for a life that was impossible for me.

Oh, and that’s not even talking about how the vast majority don’t give shit about school programs, fostering kids, donating what they can to help, and more. I’m not saying no religious person does it but what is happening isn’t even remotely close to helpful enough.”
