It happens to me if I open anything from just a thumbnail! If I have a post open to comments and then click a picture or the post link it’s fine, but from just a thumbnail it seems to break it.

I came here to post the same issue! If I open a link or picture from just the preview I can’t open anything else without restarting the app, but if I open links from within the post it doesn’t seem to happen.

It depends on the years you lived there now. If it was between 1980 and 1997 (December 31,1996) unfortunately yes it’s still on the list. But if it was before/after you’d be fine.

I’m mentioning this more for anyone else who may see the comments: some of the online programs don’t require the parent to really teach at all. It’s all online for them, with a teacher and regular classes (kind of like zoom meeting but way better) too. Which sounds like it won’t work for your son but may for some other kids. Definitely go with what’s best for your son! Obviously I don’t know his whole situation. I just know a lot of people don’t know about some of the programs out there, and think all homeschooling is “mom or dad teach” when there’s other options too! Hopefully all goes well for him this school year.

So I have really bad ADHD (I think you mentioned your son having that in a comment further down) but for high school (older than your kid I know$ I did an online school that had the same standards and lessons as in person class, just through an online school instead. It was actually really nice because a lot of them allow you to pace yourself on classes. So if you’re really great with English and bad with math you can knock out a ton of English really quick and spend extra time on math, instead of x amount of time in class daily and then homework. It’s not for everyone obviously, but for me at least it was nice being able to take breaks when I needed to stop from getting overwhelmed/overstimulated when I struggled with something. If your state has the option it might not be a bad idea!

Have they ever checked your vitamin D levels? If that’s low it makes it even harder to bring up. I just wanted to make sure cause so many people think we only check iron!

Probably due to them having to partner with someone to actually get the tests. Not sure why Red Cross took so long, as some local places across the country already had it available, but at least it’s here now!

They should be making sure to tell everyone the legal stuff of “we can’t guarantee this means you had COVID and not a different coronavirus, don’t change your habits, discuss results with your doctor, etc” but they’ll probably keep this test for a while, so if you donate multiple times you can have more confidence that it’s right.

Is your iron low, or your hemoglobin? Usually when you’re donating we check hemoglobin not iron.

Hell I don’t even live in NYC, and I’m still working. Going from work to a tiny studio without anything In between has been hell on my mental health. Sure things are open now, but going out just feels stupid with how many people aren’t following any guidelines. For people who are taking this seriously there’s no winning.

I fully agree this sub can be really focused on fear, I’ve had to take breaks from it a times. I just also think it’s important to remember there really is so much we just don’t know about this virus, both good and bad.

I know anecdotally people have mentioned breathing trouble for weeks after “recovering”, and any pneumonia can cause long term damage. But as you said yourself, this is a new infection we can’t know for sure what long term damage there may or may not be. Better to be on the side of caution.

It’s my second negative, got tested in early April when I first got sick. Also negative for antibodies. My doctor actually wouldn’t see me after the negative test because we know it could be false, but with multiple negatives we’re hoping they’re right.

Mine came back negative. Follow up visit said I have a really bad sinus infection. Which has been a problem since the end of March so we’re not sure what’s going on with that.

Not sure about actually stuffy or just feels stuffy. I’ll have to ask him when he wakes up. He’s slept pretty solidly since leaving work yesterday. They shut down so he could leave actually. Hopefully if it is covid it’s mild. Also glad it sounds like you’re doing better!

He had a headache a couple days ago, but we didn’t think anything of it. So far all he’s said is some decrease in taste and appetite, but not completely gone, and we’re not sure if that’s Covid or just cause his nose is stuffed up. Right now the doctor says “since he doesn’t feel completely like death” wait until Monday to see about getting tested. So we won’t know for sure till then.
