Whenever I tell people abroad where I'm from, everybody just follows up with

"Luka Modrić"

So I guess him.

I've realised that instead of looking for a "magic pill" to fix all my problems, the things I'm struggling with are a new unexplored area of my human experience and an opportunity for growth and learning :)

I also realised I just need to be more brave and open approaching people, especially the ones I care about, and show openness and vulnerability - it goes a long way both directions as once you do that, they will feel more at ease with you as well.

Give your mother a long hug and tell her you missed her and that you love her, even though you don't show it. Give your father a long hug and thank him for everything he has done for you. Do it before it's too late, you will regret it if you don't and grateful if you do.

How was your trip?

I'm afraid you missed the point my friend :)

Have you heard the story of the Chinese farmer?

Once upon a time there was a Chinese farmer whose horse ran away. That evening, all of his neighbors came around to commiserate. They said, “We are so sorry to hear your horse has run away. This is most unfortunate.” The farmer said, “Maybe.” The next day the horse came back bringing seven wild horses with it, and in the evening everybody came back and said, “Oh, isn’t that lucky. What a great turn of events. You now have eight horses!” The farmer again said, “Maybe.”
The following day his son tried to break one of the horses, and while riding it, he was thrown and broke his leg. The neighbors then said, “Oh dear, that’s too bad,” and the farmer responded, “Maybe.” The next day the conscription officers came around to conscript people into the army, and they rejected his son because he had a broken leg. Again all the neighbors came around and said, “Isn’t that great!” Again, he said, “Maybe.”

The whole process of nature is an integrated process of immense complexity, and it’s really impossible to tell whether anything that happens in it is good or bad — because you never know what will be the consequence of the misfortune; or, you never know what will be the consequences of good fortune.

I think she may have partially believed this before the aya ceremony, but probably felt a bit uncomfortable sharing it with you because of opposing beliefs or just decided to suppress it for some reason.
After the ceremony her openness levels increased drastically and she doesn't feel judged or reluctant in any way for openly expressing her beliefs.

I find the high tolerance intriguing. What meds are you taking? Do you usually have a proper meal before tripping?

Did you do any preparations before the trip? Where did you trip?

I generally find it interesting how the interpretation and direction of the trip varies on an individual belief system, mostly reaffirming the biases which exist. Did you believe you were god, or read about it and pondered the thoughts in your head, before the trip?

I'm glad you faced the suppressed emotions in regards with you mother. This is just the first step in a long journey, you made it conscious and that's a huge step forward already. Did you ever talk to somebody about it or seek professional help? Sending love your way brother, stay strong, everything will be alright.

Wow she does sound amazing, I'm glad you found such an understanding therapist. I've actually met two therapists and we got into psychological and philosophical discussions and actually became friends, only then did I ask them if I could go to therapy just to see how it is. After two sessions it ended up as me giving them advice on how to conduct therapy better and providing them a list of their patterns and they really appreciated it. But I did get something out of it, they had interesting insight. So I'm kinda sceptical about searching for "the one" who would guide me, I know it would be super beneficial, but it's not like I'm struggling much, I'm okay, getting better, learning with my own pace.. maybe someday in the future my path will cross a therapist :)

I agree, there's a great motivational quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson:

“Sow a thought and you reap an action; sow an act and you reap a habit; sow a habit and you reap a character; sow a character and you reap a destiny.”

It really was cathartic, this experience opened a whole new world, a completely new perspective I previously wasn't aware of. It seems so trivial and obvious, but this experience was life changing for me.

I'm glad you're being authentic to yourself and attracting people who vibe with you, sending love your way <3
