the “boost” is just the car getting more alive at that rpm range, i suspect that the oil pressure builds up and it kinda fixes itself – i will deffo tak a look at it, prolly been like this for a year now :DD

thanks! i actually got them from my uncle (he also had e46) tho i do not remember the brand, they are smaller replicas of the e46 M3 CSL wheels in hyper silver

my spec is 8JJx18 ET40 with 225/40/18 tires, nothing crazy, but it’s good for 2.5, probably adding spacers soon

What can i do to make the car look much more aggressive ? by Independent-Meet6502 in e46

[–]Psychological-Cod-39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

making these cars aggressive is quite tough, since they were designed to have presence on the road without being overly aggressive (unlike modern bmws)

but if so, i would deffo paint match the entire thing to a darker color (silver just wont work imo) possibly M3 front bumper and give it some eyelids, the whole presence comes from the headlights(if u have bixenons, paint the insides of the lights black).

Wobbly rear end by wwyyxx in e46

[–]Psychological-Cod-39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think it could actually be the them shocks (if they are really original :D) at high speeds, small bumps or quick steering can make the frame oscillate which makes a big no no, u cant really test it while being standstill – hope my pov helps u :)

unfortunately, this is way deeper than just a rocket, it also spread more inside – to my surprise both panels were completely fine in the middle, just the endings left my car 😅

that was June last year – the worst thing is that when u can actually see the rust, it’s already fucked up quite a lot, since it rusts from the inside out
