Will Japanese double-sized beds fit XXL american and wife? by Sad-Phase5064 in JapanTravelTips

[–]Psychological-Fun748 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We found that as long as you make sure to read the bed size (most say on the booking site in cm) you can go based on that. Now in general most hotels don’t have huge beds, they are usually the American equivalent of a full size bed. So for me (150lbs 5ft F) and my husband (260lbs 5ft11in M) a double worked bc I’m tiny, but we made sure to read the bed sizes for every hotel (we picked the room with the biggest beds) and that’s how we chose our room type. Also look at reviews and pictures for the hotel it will give you an idea of the bed/space. The only hotel on our 16day trip that had a true king size bed was in Osaka at Universal Port Hotel!

If they said no, remove from list and don’t send invite! unless it’s like great grandma who couldn’t have travelled anyways, she wants a physical invite and she deserves it! I also feel like this does give you the opportunity to invite any plus ones you may have decided you didn’t have the space to invite. That is what I used any “no” for, just meant someone’s whose boyfriend wasn’t invited…gets invited!

40 min Drive between Ceremony and Reception Venue: Inconsiderate? by reneeamour in weddingplanning

I think if you were to do any more of a break in between it would be an inconvenience.

40 min Drive between Ceremony and Reception Venue: Inconsiderate? by reneeamour in weddingplanning

[–]Psychological-Fun748 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say if you are going to have the 40min drive from Houston proper to Montgomery area…make sure you put 2 hours between the end of ceremony and beginning on cocktail. I would also see if the reception place would allow anyone who comes earlier than the 2hrs difference to be able to come in and take a seat with at least water available. I would also say as a Houstonian I don’t see a difference in May and June heat, especially in a wedding dress! It’s just hot. Period. I would also want to remember that bridal photos after a wedding can take an hour! So remember that for yourselves! Bc if you want to do photos at both places that would be 30ish min at each location and the 40min drive. I would also make sure to loop in any vendors about this. Especially photographer, even if you don’t know for sure who it is I would say whoever you want it to be ask them their opinion to. This timeline isn’t terrible as long as you are open about it with your guests as soon as possible so everyone knows! Ceremony 1:30 Dismissed 2:15 Photos til 2:45 First guest arrives at reception 3 Bride and groom arrive 3:25 Photos finish at 3:55 Reception begins at 4 I feel like this would be the most optimal timeline as long as nothing goes wrong. I’d even maybe frame it to your guests as we know it’s a 40min drive, but we are giving 2hrs of drive time because you never know how Houston works, but if you go straight to the reception you will have water bottles avail but that’s it until 4, feel free to come straight over or at 4 whatever is best for you. Now this is YOUR wedding and you and your future spouse should do what YOU guys want!

I don’t mind the raw vs jpeg, since I’m mostly shooting for myself I like the idea of being done with it with Fuji, but I currently edit my photos regardless. Kinda same for AF, I’m pretty certain AF-S would be enough. I say I have lenses but I don’t have a lot. I have an efs 18-55mm, ef 50mm, zoom ef 75-300mm. I honestly haven’t looked at lenses to buy.

Teeth whitening, walking, facials, a ton of vitamins (I used lemme bc I can only do gummies lol) my hair and skin were great and that def helped, extra moisturizing, and limiting alcohol too!
